I really like the sound of “Amalthea”. I agree with you, it is rather exotic. “[name]Vanetia[/name]” for some reason is making me think ‘vanetian blinds’ so I’m not altogether liking the sound of it. Interesting to note, my grandmother’s mn is “[name]Venus[/name]” but said like “[name]Venice[/name]”. I always really liked her name.

I love Amalthea. You could get [name]Thea[/name] as a nickname - super adorable!

Wow! Well, I can sort of see [name]Venus[/name] pronounced [name]Venice[/name]. Very interesting.

I know, that’s one thing I love about it. You can get [name]Thea[/name] with a full name that’s more . . . substantial.
