Two nerdy names i've fallen in love with!

Caprica and Gallifrey

[name]Both[/name] happen to be Sci-fi planet names
Caprica is from Battlestar Galactica, and it’s been on my top 50 list for quite some time
Gallifrey is from [name]Doctor[/name] Who, and I just recently found it as name inspiration, but quite like it. Possible nn [name]Freya[/name]?

What do you think of these 2 names?

I’m a big BSG nerd. Caprica definitely works fine as a name, if you don’t mind the really strong association people will have.

Not a huge fan of the other, but that said, I’m not familiar with [name]Doctor[/name] Who.

I don’t follow either of those shows, but I like both the names! Gallifrey is pretty!
There’s a bunch of names I love from Game of Thrones (Cersei, Khaleesi, [name]Tyrion[/name]) but I’d probably never use them, or dare ask opinions of them here, since there seems to be quite the hatred of “made up” names, lol.

I don’t care for either as “baby names” as I find they are too tied to their respective tv shows. I do, though, like [name]Freya[/name].

I have never seen either of those shows, but Caprica sounds lovely. Gallifrey, however, I certainly don’t like.

Caprica is very pretty. I don’t follow any Sci-Fi, but it has a nice sound. You may also like a name I stumbled upon on an 1800s gravestone: Capitolia. I can’t find any information on it, but the version “[name]Capitola[/name]” seems to have been a more widely used name than Capitolia. I like the sounds of both, and Caprica reminded me of the same style.

I love the sound of Caprica, but wasn’t it a pretty corrupt place?

Fun fact, [name]David[/name] Tennant said that if [name]Rose[/name] and TenToo ever had kids, one of them would be named Gallifrey. I was just thinking [name]Freya[/name] would be a cute nickname.
