Is Quillam a new suggestion, or did you intend [name]Quillan[/name] or [name]Quilliam[/name]? Thanks!
[name]Quilliam[/name]… I don’t know. I think it might be more hassle than its worth. I like that you still get the [name]Quill[/name] part, and you could still honor family, but it’s just too close to [name]William[/name] and I think it’d be confusing. When I first glanced at it I couldn’t tell if it was [name]Quillan[/name] or [name]William[/name]… I see its appeal, but I think it’d be a bit too much hassle for me, anyway.
[name]Deveraux[/name]… aww. I just smile when I see this. It’s just so dashing, and even though it’s quite different from your other children ([name]Caspian[/name], Zephan, and [name]Eve[/name], right?), it just suits your family, I think. It has this dashing, heroic, bold, familiar feel to it. I don’t really like [name]Dax[/name] as a nn (and I think a few people might scratch they’re heads when they hear he’s [name]Dax[/name], short for [name]Deveraux[/name], even though all the letters are right in the name…), but I love [name]Dev[/name]. I think [name]Deveraux[/name], nn [name]Dev[/name], would be really cool. Although, would [name]Dev[/name] be too close to [name]Eve[/name]? Maybe [name]Dax[/name] would work better in that case…
I still like [name]Quillan[/name] the best from your options, but I really like [name]Deveraux[/name], too.

Out these two new choices, I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Deveraux[/name]! I think it sounds just great with your other kids names. It does have that same adventurous or romantic feel to it as your other childrens names.
I like it with the other names I know you’ve been considering: [name]Deveraux[/name] [name]Wesley[/name] [name]Donald[/name]. OR [name]Deveraux[/name] [name]Quillan[/name] [name]Donald[/name]…[name]Deveraux[/name] [name]Quilliam[/name] [name]Donald[/name].

My sister and my best friend say that people will shorten [name]Deveraux[/name] to [name]Devin[/name], especially since the other boys have -an endings. Anyone think this is likely?
I wouldn’t have considered shorting it to [name]Devin[/name]. [name]Dev[/name] sure…but I never would have put the -in- at the end.
I was looking up [name]Deveraux[/name] and found an entry on a site with the following name suggestions, maybe you would like some of them. Are you by any chance cajun or have cajun lineage? It would be a great name if you were. It reminds me of [name]Louisiana[/name] bayous and stuff like that!

Devereaux - Wikipedia apparently it’s a misspelling of Devereux which is a surname but you might like it as a name, it’s definitely dashing. The name basically means “from Évreux”

I still like [name]Dax[/name]…[name]Devereaux[/name] is really long and hard to spell…Quillian\m too…I have a daughter and she has a really long name that she totally knows how to spell because I made up a song when she was 10 days old.
