Two Questions: Caspar or Casper and Middle Names!

I have posted on here before about the name [name]Caspar[/name] but really want some opinions on spelling / pronounciation and middle names please!!

Firstly I prefer the spelling [name]Caspar[/name] and was just wondering what everyone else thought and whether if we spelled it [name]Caspar[/name] that it would still be pronounced the same way? I am wondering if spelling it with an ‘a’ rather than an ‘e’ would cause confusion with pronounciation?

Secondly I am really struggling to think of middle names to go with [name]Caspar[/name] so I am looking for any suggestions.

I love [name]Caspar[/name] with two "A"s! I prefer it. [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Casper[/name] have always looked misspelled to me, haha. I love that [name]Caspar[/name] is the French spelling, too. I don’t think it would be confusing for the pronunciation, but I do think people would spell it wrong a lot of the time! I remember seeing one post of people asking for opinions on [name]Caspar[/name] (this spelling), and only a handful of the posters spelled it with two "A"s, and the original poster specifically said she was considering the [name]Caspar[/name] spelling instead of [name]Casper[/name]… (Maybe this was your [name]Caspar[/name] thread? haha) I think it might be a problem but if you love it I would totally fight for it. [name]Caspar[/name] is amazing. :slight_smile:

As for MNs for [name]Caspar[/name], I’m a bit stumped! These were really the only ideas I had, wdyt?

I think I prefer the [name]Casper[/name] spelling, it just is easy for everybody to spell and pronounce. [name]Caspar[/name] spelling may throw people off. Also [name]Jasper[/name] is very popular where I live so [name]Casper[/name] just seems like it would fit right it. Great name by the way!

I love [name]Caspar[/name]! Definitely my preferred spelling. I do pronounce it just a tinge differently than [name]Casper[/name], but not enough that most people would notice.
[name]Caspar[/name] [name]Marius[/name] is a combo I really like. I think [name]Caspar[/name] [name]Luca[/name] & [name]Caspar[/name] [name]Hadrian[/name] are great, too.

I think [name]Casper[/name]/[name]Caspar[/name] is great! Personally I prefer the [name]Casper[/name] spelling but that’s just what I’m used to. If I were to see the [name]Caspar[/name] spelling though I wouldn’t even bat an eye. But with [name]Caspar[/name] I would go with a more traditional boys name for the middle.
I really like [name]Caspar[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]! (a lot actually :P) And [name]Caspar[/name] [name]Vincent[/name].
