We are due with our first in two weeks (and we don’t know if it’s a boy or girl). If it’s a girl she will be either [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Mimi[/name_f]) or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f]).
However, with boys there are still more on our list. The middle name will be something with an H, we are thinking either [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_m]Harris[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] on [name_m]Herschel[/name_m] (depending on the first name). The last name is [name_m]Conlon[/name_m] (pronounced [name_u]Con[/name_u]-lynn).
I think [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is great, or [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. Only downside I see is [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] is pretty popular, if that matters to you. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] are also nice.
I don’t love [name_m]Odin[/name_m] with your surname because of the double -in ending, and don’t love [name_u]Cato[/name_u] because it sounds too much like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] O’Connlin. [name_u]Gus[/name_u] I would like better as a nickname since it’s so short. Maybe [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Angus[/name_m]?
I like [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] best from your list, but I have a strong preference for full given names (so take this with a grain of salt). So while I think [name_u]Gus[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] are adorable, I would use them as nicknames for longer given names. It’s just a personal preference. Also, I agree with pp that [name_u]Cato[/name_u] sounds like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] O’Connlin.
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] is my favorite although I like them all except [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] (which I’m not sure why I don’t like it, but I’m not a huge fan, sorry!). I think my favorite combos would be [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Herschel[/name_m], [name_u]Gus[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] (maybe?), [name_m]Odin[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], or [name_u]Cato[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]? I think? If I had to pick j ust two, though, I think they’d be [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Herschel[/name_m] and either [name_u]Gus[/name_u] or [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. I love the idea of [name_u]Gus[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] more than [name_u]Gus[/name_u]. But I am stuck on a [name_m]Leo[/name_m] combo I really love. So I think I’m going for [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Herschel[/name_m] or [name_u]Gus[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but if you have a [name_m]Leo[/name_m] combo you love, I’d switch it to [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] are both gorgeous!

To me [name_u]Gus[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] sounds classy, stylish and sophisticated as well as not being too common. I love it.
And [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] (I adore [name_f]Nell[/name_f]). I love [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] too, but where I love mimi is a word for wees so we don’t get many of them here!
