I’m torn between two names. I wish I had twins!!! Haha
I’m torn between [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. I’ve been struggling with this for weeks as some of you unfortunately know.
I love them both.
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is classic and spunky, [name_f]Viv[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] are adorable NN.
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is adorable and fun, [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] and GG are adorable NN.
(The [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] spelling is too long with our last name, the -an works better).
Well, if you love them both, go with what your partner thinks! I personally like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] better- however, it is becoming increasingly popular, so [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] would be less common when she’s in school I bet. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is also more feminine, because it’s not a man’s name ([name_m]George[/name_m]) turned into a female name ([name_f]Georgina[/name_f]).
It kind of matters what’s important to you in a name. If you like the history of a name, maybe look up women in history with those names and see if something strikes you.
Another thought: do you like one of the middle names better? That could help you make a decision! I personally think that [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is ADORABLE.
You can’t decide because they are both beautiful names & amazing combos! ” They are just different. You are in a great place with two awesome names that you love. I think your best bet is probably to wait to meet her. I had two names I really liked and when I met my son one fit perfectly and the other felt totally wrong (and still does to this day)!
I like [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] better as a combo, but I’m torn as far as [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]. I like them both pretty evenly, although I’ve been crushing on [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] lately, and would still probably lean in that direction myself. I do like the nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] more than [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] or [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], though, personally. (Which is probably why I have always preferred [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] of the [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] names–I love [name_f]Annie[/name_f]!) I think I’m going with [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], personally, although I don’t know how to help you make up your mind, haha! Hopefully just hearing opinions by an unbiased party will help? I have found that just hearing opinions of others help me settle on what I sort of knew all along. Good luck!
I love both as well. I am leaning toward [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] simply because it’s very unexpected. I have yet to meet a little [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] though. If you can’t decide, you may want to wait until she is born.
I like [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] because it sounds more original. I’ve met 3 Vivians. [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] would be a beautiful name, imo.
I couldnt agree more! they are both amazing names and combos… I think its best to see the baby first… and if one doesnt immediately strike… possibly saying them out loud to her… maybe that might make it more real!
You’ve done well to whittle it down to two names! We still had a spreadsheet of names and combos when my daughter was born, and she didn’t get a name for 3.5 weeks. Haha.
I think they’re both great choices and - like others have suggested - you could just sit on it until she arrives.
Oh yeah, I also meant to say that [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is very heavy with one sound. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is a pretty name =]
No need to feel bad for him: [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] started out as a boy’s name, and it suits little [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] perfectly. I also know of another baby boy called [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] but don’t know him personally. I’m guessing that with the popularity of letters like V, W and X, there might be an increase in boy Vivians. Still a lovely name for girls too.
I suppose you’re right. I feel the same way about [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], though. I just learned not too long ago that it was a boy name first. It’s shocking to me, because I have never heard otherwise. There are definitely some interesting changes happening in the baby name world! For me, at least there is.
So I can’t totally remember but we’re you the one who had the baby in [name_u]June[/name_u] who still doesn’t have a name?
If so, I’ve voted [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] before & still love it. However, you keep going back to [name_u]June[/name_u].
Is [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] an option?
At this point, it has to be so difficult to still not have a name. You have 2 amazing options. You can’t go wrong. Personally, if I couldn’t decide after 2 or 3 months I would be so stressed. It might just be easier to flip a coin, or draw a name of you love both equally. You have to choose something…however you decide just know you made a very careful & thoughtful choice & she has a beautiful name!
