Wow, that’s intense!

Once again, I like pretty much every name on this list. Surprised to see Morgan, as it strikes me as more modern than many of the other names. From the girls, I’m excited to see Sybella! There definitely seems to a shift in trends over time to more casual names with the younger Royal set, specifically those not in the direct line of succession. I’ve always thought Zara and Eugenie were such unexpected choices, but still felt ‘royal’ in some capacity. Of the youngest generation, Savannah has always stood out to me as being rather different from the rest, but I think that’s my American perspective, Savannah, Georgia is my main association so I get American Southern vibes, but it’s probably different in the UK?

Thanks for doing this!

Well that’s an interesting one sounds like something out of bbc ghosts or horrible histories

August, Henry and Louis are the only ones I really like out of the masculine names; I like Adelaide, Beatrice, Sybella, Alice, Charlotte, Frederica, Ingrid, Zara, Autumn, Savannah, and Sienna of the girls
Intriguing how there’s more variation, more straying away from the ‘classics’ amongst the girls

I love your mentions of BBC Ghosts! We watch it here in [name_m]Oz[/name_m]!

I think people are generally more willing to let girl names get a bit loose than the boys - I guess fears around their need to seem serious and professional (and in this case “Royal” - though added element here of being distance from ever wearing the crown). I have a few friends who have out there names for the girls and then classics for boys….
