What are your favorite, ultimate, names you feel won’t sound dated ten plus years from now?
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Joseph[/name]
[name]James[/name]
I love [name]James[/name]. Why does everyone use this as a middle?! Maybe to avoid the nickname [name]Jim[/name]. On the flip side, I love the nickname [name]Joe[/name] for [name]Joseph[/name]!
[name]Alice[/name] is definitely one of those classics that people have taken off the shelf and dusted off! Great name.
I prefer the [name]Caroline[/name] spelling but prefer it pronounced [name]Caro[/name]-lin to [name]Caro[/name]-line. Pretty name.
In my opinion, [name]Sarah[/name] is date-proof. I know Sarahs of all ages. I think [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name], too, and perhaps [name]Mary[/name].
For boys, [name]James[/name], [name]Edward[/name], [name]George[/name], [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Charles[/name] and other staples don’t date.
I agree, [name]Sarah[/name] is a great date-proof name! I personally prefer the [name]Sara[/name] spelling though.
I love [name]Alexander[/name] (and [name]Alexandra[/name])!

I don’t think these names are date-proof at all. In fact, I think most of these are dated right now.
I always think of date-proof names as classical names that have been around for aaages. Lots have already been mentioned, but like
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]William[/name]
[name]James[/name]
[name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name]/[name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Rachael[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
etc. etc.
I think [name]Anna[/name] is date-proof, too.
I love [name]Alexandra[/name]/[name]Alexander[/name]. Names like [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Edward[/name] [name]Luke[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Alice[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Emily[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]. will never date there will always be one or two.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Katherine[/name] seem the most date-proof. Also [name]Julia[/name].
