Uma or una

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] so I love both the names uma and una I think they are both beautiful girl names. however them being so so similar I need to decide which one i prefer but I need your help

So I love how uma is cool and quirky but I also think it is very beautiful and very unique which I love. It reminds me of uma [name_m]Thurman[/name_m] who is super cool.

However una I think has a gentler sound and is more poetic and soft. I don’t think it’s as cool but I think it’s slightly prettier and girlier.

So which do you guys prefer?

I personally prefer [name_f]Una[/name_f], it’s softer, still unique, and Spanish/Italian (which I find sound better than Portuguese, which uses uma instead).

I prefer [name_f]Una[/name_f], as I like the softness.

I prefer [name_f]Una[/name_f], I also like the alternative spelling [name_f]Oona[/name_f].

[name_f]Uma[/name_f] for sure! It’s so gorgeous and unique, but still recognizable and I love the [name_f]Uma[/name_f] [name_m]Therman[/name_m] connection!

I prefer [name_f]Una[/name_f], it feels softer than [name_f]Uma[/name_f] which feels quite clunky to me

I prefer [name_f]Una[/name_f] (though I also really like the [name_f]Oona[/name_f] spelling). I don’t like the sound of [name_f]Uma[/name_f] as much, plus I think (where I live at least) it would get misheard as [name_f]Una[/name_f] a lot anyway.
