Uncommon Biblical Name Combinations

Firstly, I am so appreciative of everyone who has shared their opinions in my other thread. It is so helpful to receive feedback in a forum like this. For some reason we are finding it very difficult to come up with combinations for a boy - we find girls much easier!

Our list of combinations at the moment is…

[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Justus[/name_m]
Ezekiel Richard
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_u]Howard[/name_u]
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Josiah[/name_m]

[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m]
[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]

[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]Fredrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]

[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Justus[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Fredrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
Malachi Richard

Opinions please! Suggestions are very welcome.

The only names that stand out to me at the moment are Zadok Alexander and Nehemiah William. It seems sad to eliminate the others simply because we cannot find middle names.

Edited because I forgot to list some of our combinations.

I only have one change to what I posted in your first thread and that is for [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m].

[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]

[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]

[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] or [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] (I have a slight preference for [name_m]William[/name_m])

[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] or [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Justus[/name_m]

Good luck!

I love [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]!

I appreciate the feedback. [name_u]James[/name_u] is out - it’s a family name and we really don’t want anyone to think we named our son for said relative!

[name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] are nice options - perhaps for [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m], [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m], [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]. Although [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is slipping off our list.

Our little one decided to arrive a few weeks earlier than expected, but is happy and healthy.

After narrowing our list down to six options:

[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]Fredrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m]

Then three (the day before I went into labor):

[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]

We have settled on…

[name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], baby brother to [name_f]Jerusha[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

Congratulations!!! And fantastic name choice!

I’m not a fan of [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]. It’s not a bad name, it just doesn’t do it for me. [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_m]Justus[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_u]Howard[/name_u] are my favorite combos listed.

I think [name_m]Zadok[/name_m] is really cool! I like [name_m]Zadok[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. The commonness of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] balances well with the unusualness of [name_m]Zadok[/name_m].

[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] has really grown on me lately, a lot of the Biblical -iah names for boys have, actually. [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] is my favorite combo listed.

[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is handsome but feels a bit too normal compared to the others mentioned. [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Justus[/name_m] and [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] are handsome!
