I love Morwenna!! I don’t know how but it manages to be fiery, earthy and watery all at once? I imagine someone kind, confident and strong willed who enjoys the outdoors! It’s a gorgeous name!
I know that ‘mor’ names are related to water so I voted Water, however [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] gives me really earthy vibes. I love the name. The image that comes to me of an adult [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] is as a person who knows her own mind - not pushy but no push over. I picture her as very sensible, intelligent, and a really good friend.
A young [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] would love to read, nurture her pets, love arts and crafts and have interests that lean towards nature rather than unicorns, for example. So I can see her pushing her doll in a pram on a family walk and collecting pinecones, lichen, flowers and moss to make a fairy garden but not being drawn to Barbies… apparently my imagery is quite specific!!
I like [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f]. I definitely associate it with water due to its meaning. It feels strong but also calm, quiet and gentle to me.
Two associations: [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_u]Banks[/name_u] (actress) and the character of [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] in Poldark (who had an awful time but is a good character).
I do find it a name for an adult, rather than a child, for some reason! For that reason I personally prefer it as a middle, plus I think it’s prettiest in full.
@Greyblue I get what you mean - I suppose it has in-touch-with-nature-esque vibes, which encompasses all those things. Ohhhh [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] is a super cute NN option!
@EdgeOfTheMeadow Your imagery is perfection! Thank you for sharing. I would love a little earthy-nature obsessed child haha
@katinka It does feel very grown up, I agree. I think I like it mostly as a middle option as well, but it also has a strong presence that seems to demand the attention of first place…
