Under the radar - Feedback

Here are some girl names that have caught my attention. I would like to know what the berries think about them:

[name_f]Ines[/name_f] (a very familiar name to me, however I never thought much about it until now, maybe because it’s so popular around here)
[name_f]Aida[/name_f]
[name_f]Amalia[/name_f]
Caetana (k-tana)
[name_f]Dalila[/name_f]
[name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Luz[/name_f]
[name_f]Maude[/name_f]
[name_f]Salome[/name_f]
[name_f]Sancha[/name_f] (San-sha)
[name_f]Coralia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rafaela[/name_f]
[name_f]Carlota[/name_f]
[name_f]Petra[/name_f]
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]

Really like all of them except for [name_f]Sancha[/name_f], Caetana, [name_f]Amalia[/name_f], and [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f].

[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]: [name_u]Bright[/name_u] and happy but sounds a bit awkward when I say it out loud.

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]: Sweet vintage name with several NN options.

[name_f]Petra[/name_f]: Spunky.

[name_f]Rafaela[/name_f]: Very elegant.

[name_f]Salome[/name_f]: Beautiful and alluring but I worry about pronunciation issues.

[name_f]Maude[/name_f]: An oldie but goodie. So underused but looks and sounds timeless. I think it’s very chic.

[name_f]Luz[/name_f]: Sweet and simple.

[name_f]Irene[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] it when pronounced ee-REH-neh.

[name_f]Dalila[/name_f]: Fun pretty name.

[name_f]Aida[/name_f]: Very elegant and feminine.

[name_f]Ines[/name_f]: See [name_f]Maude[/name_f].

[name_f]Ines[/name_f]-5/10 I prefer [name_f]Isla[/name_f] or [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f].
[name_f]Aida[/name_f]- 4/10 not a fan.
[name_f]Amalia[/name_f]- 7/10 it’s ok. I prefer [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] or [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
Caetana (k-tana)- 0/10
[name_f]Dalila[/name_f]- 7/10 pretty. I also like [name_u]Delaney[/name_u].
[name_f]Irene[/name_f]- 2/10 not a fan.
[name_f]Luz[/name_f]- 0/10 I read this as “lose” which is negative in my mind.
[name_f]Maude[/name_f]- 6/10 very modern sounding.
[name_f]Salome[/name_f]-0/10 makes me think of Salami.
[name_f]Sancha[/name_f]- 0/10 makes me think of a sandwich.
[name_f]Coralia[/name_f]- 5/10 prefer [name_f]Cora[/name_f].
[name_f]Rafaela[/name_f]- 8/10 pretty. Also suggest [name_f]Philippa[/name_f].
[name_f]Carlota[/name_f]- 1/10
[name_f]Petra[/name_f]-3/10
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]-2/10
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]-3/10

I’m not very familliar with [name_f]Ines[/name_f] in [name_f]Alabama[/name_f], so it might just be your area where it’s popular. It’s not my personal favorite, but if you like it, then go for it!
There are a LOT of Aidas (and [name_f]Ada[/name_f]/[name_f]Adda[/name_f]/[name_f]Ava[/name_f]/Aidens) where I’m from, bt I’ve always thought it’s a pretty name.
I like [name_f]Amalia[/name_f]. It’s an exotic twist on [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
Caetana isn’t my favorite, because it reminds me of the sword.
Would you pronounce [name_f]Dalila[/name_f] like [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]? If so, it’s very pretty (if you don’t mind the Biblical implication), but I would use the traditional spelling so you’re not constantly having to explain how it’s pronounced.
I’m partial to [name_f]Irene[/name_f] because it was one of my grandmothers’ middle names.
I like [name_f]Luz[/name_f], but would never be able to use it for my own child.
[name_f]Maude[/name_f] was also one of my grandmothers’ middle names. Her first name was [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], and I was named after her, so I’m fond of [name_f]Maude[/name_f] as well (but mostly for a middle name).
I played a character named [name_f]Salome[/name_f] in a high school play, and she was fun, but not exactly a great namesake, so I have mixed personal feelings about this name.
[name_f]Sancha[/name_f] is very unique, but not one of my favorites.
[name_f]Coralia[/name_f] is unique, and I like this one more. It’s in the same vein as popular names like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], but has its own twist.
[name_f]Rafaela[/name_f] is a beautiful name, and if you have Hispanic or Italian heritage, I would really recommend using it.
I can’t hear [name_f]Carlota[/name_f] without thinking of the diva in The Phantom of the [name_f]Opera[/name_f], so I wouldn’t personally use it.
[name_f]Petra[/name_f] is another one that I’m not crazy about.
Magnolias are a very popular flower in the South, but I don’t know any little girls with that name. [name_f]Flower[/name_f] names are really popular, though ([name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Petunia[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f]), so I think [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is a nice, unique addition to the trend.
I was really into the name [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] for a while–but for a boy! I like it for a girl as well, though.

Best of luck! I hope this helps!
