What do you think of the name Zealand? I love place names but some of them are getting so popular- [name]Savannah[/name], [name]Georgia[/name], [name]London[/name], [name]Paris[/name], [name]Brooklyn[/name]! Zealand doesn’t show up as a name on nameberry, but I think it sounds pretty cool! It’s unusual but familiar, and you could call him [name]Zea[/name]! It also has a layed back surfer feel but it sounds exotic and upbeat at the same time! I know it’s somewhat of a made up name… am I crazy for loving it?!
I think it could work, it has a similar sound to [name]Leland[/name] & the nn [name]Zea[/name] is cute
I agree! I see the [name]Leland[/name] connection and that makes it easier to accept. I like it after giving it a minute to sink in, & [name]Zea[/name] or Z as a nn is great! My fiance and I have discussed Bordeaux nn [name]Beau[/name] as a name. Is it too out there? This made me try to think of other usable but more obscure place names. I went a little crazy and I came up with:

I love it! I also love place names, and SO and I discussed the possibility of using [name]Oslo[/name] for a while. I think Zealand is a great idea.
I’ll add [name]Persia[/name], [name]Asia[/name], [name]Laramie[/name] and Montreal (last one is a bit out-there but someone may like it).
I like Zealand. Zeal would be a cute nickname too.
