A guilty pleasure name is a name you probably wouldn’t use but you keep on your mental list of names because you think it sounds nice or is too cool. 
I adore these names and actually some of them I am brave enough to use, like the name Loyal. Any unique name is very much appreciated!

I love all of these but I would never want to saddle a child with one of them. Most are either too tied to one character/person or too inviting to bullies. Some are just a bit too far out there and don’t fit in with my style at all.

I forgot [name]Jocelyn[/name], which has been a guilty pleasure boy’s name for me since I read [name]Elizabeth[/name] Goudge’s novel, “A City of Bells.” The protagonist, named [name]Jocelyn[/name], is a young soldier discharged after being wounded who finds a new life selling books in a little English cathedral town.
I have somewhat the same feeling for [name]Ashley[/name] (I’ve actually known two guys named [name]Ashley[/name]), [name]Hilary[/name] and [name]Whitney[/name], but [name]Jocelyn[/name] is my favorite.
I love love love the name [name]Brighton[/name] with the nn [name]Bright[/name]. And also [name]Hawk[/name].

Then again I’m only a teenager so that’s years away… I read a book when a mother who loved [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] named her son [name]Darcy[/name], that’s where I got the idea.
