This sounds like me! But instead of trying to find names that sound beautiful to us either way my husband and I choose meaningful God-honoring names that we can use in English and we give our children Spanish nicknames. For my first son we use the Spanish equivalent of his name, my second son we use a Spanish nickname similar to his middle name, and for my daughter we call her Esperanza in Spanish because it was a name that went along perfectly with the overall meaning of her English name.
