Our son’s name is [name_u]Rigby[/name_u] and we are looking for an equally unique name for his baby sister coming in the fall. Below is a list of names that we have narrowed down. What sounds best for a girl to go with brother [name_u]Rigby[/name_u]? Our last name is Baranick.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] want to say I love [name_u]Rigby[/name_u]! So cute and cool.
[name_f]My[/name_f] top three favorites from your list are [name_u]Harley[/name_u], [name_u]Evyn[/name_u], and [name_m]Knox[/name_m]! [name_u]Marley[/name_u] also goes well, I’m just not personally a fan of the name (I prefer [name_u]Marlow[/name_u]!)
and I really love [name_u]Rigby[/name_u] & [name_u]Ripley[/name_u] together, but I think they’re too similar.
[name_u]Austin[/name_u]-I wouldn’t call this unique. This is unique for a girl. But it’s fairly common in boys, which will just make a little girl’s life difficult if you ask me.
[name_u]Evyn[/name_u]-Same as above.
[name_u]Ripley[/name_u]-This is way too close to [name_u]Rigby[/name_u], & also way too ‘[name_u]Ripley[/name_u]’s Believe it or Not’.
[name_f]Tenley[/name_f]-This is not my style. It seems a bit made up & similar to the very popular trendy [name_f]Kinley[/name_f].
[name_u]Harley[/name_u]-This is 225 on the SSA popularity list. Which isn’t unheard of, but not too over done. It’s not my personal style, but it seems to fit your criteria & is cute w/[name_u]Rigby[/name_u].
[name_m]Knox[/name_m]-I don’t know. I like this for a boy, & it’s very masculine in my opinion.
[name_u]Marley[/name_u]-This is about the same popularity as. [name_u]Harley[/name_u]. I personally find it sweeter.
[name_u]Remy[/name_u]-This is a bit close to [name_u]Rigby[/name_u], but a nice choice otherwise. Again, not super unique (537 on the charts, yet [name_u]Remi[/name_u] is 177. [name_m]Add[/name_m] those together, you get a lot of [name_u]Remy[/name_u]/Remis), but cute enough.
Again, a little more help needed! Thank you for everyone’s help! We are leaning towards [name_m]Knox[/name_m] but need a T middle name to honor a family member. Which do you prefer from the below options? Or what other T names do you suggest?
I think most of these are too similar with [name_u]Rigby[/name_u], like [name_u]Remy[/name_u], [name_u]Ripley[/name_u], especially but really all of the -ley names are too matchy for me. Which is unfortunate because the others are very masculine next to [name_u]Rigby[/name_u]. I agree that the suggestion of [name_u]Marlo[/name_u] would be rad, or maybe [name_f]Nyx[/name_f] or [name_u]Lux[/name_u]?
