I voted for [name]Avery[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] because I think they are the best from your list, and of unisex names in general! I also voted for [name]Eden[/name], because I really love that name! I’ve never thought of it as a unisex name, only ever heard it as a girls’ name.
I have a cousin named [name]Avery[/name] (she’s 5), and a niece named [name]Camden[/name] (age 6), but we generally call her [name]Cami[/name]. Neither of these names are my style, but I didn’t cringe when my aunt and sister chose them, either. I think [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] are both relatively on the female side of unisex, though, and so I chose [name]Quinn[/name]
I voted for [name]Eden[/name] and reluctantly voted for [name]Avery[/name] because I see it as a male name but it’s the best unisex name of the bunch (the rest are either masculine or just feminine, like [name]Eden[/name]).
[name]Avery[/name], [name]Arden[/name], [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] are the only names on your poll that I find suitable for a girl. The trendy [name]Camden[/name] is a place name so that it could technically be a female name but I don’t like it very much. [name]One[/name] female celebrity named [name]Cameron[/name] doesn’t make that name unisex and [name]Aidan[/name] is a [name]MALE[/name] Irish saint name. Many people think names are feminine because of their “sound” which is a logic that I fail to understand.
I like [name]Avery[/name], [name]Arden[/name], [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] for girls. I know a girl named [name]Avery[/name] so I tend to think girl for it, [name]Arden[/name], [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] all read girl to me. Aven is kind of cute sounding but looks made up. I know a girl named [name]Ryanne[/name] (prn [name]Rye[/name]-[name]Ann[/name]) but its NMS and a [name]Cameron[/name] who’s a girl (I think its actually [name]Camryn[/name] though.)
Except for [name]Avery[/name], I don’t think the list is unisex. [name]Just[/name] boy or girl.
Personally, as a girl with a unisex name, it is not my favortie thing in the world to have a name that workds for a boy. HOWEVER, if you like unisex names, I say go for it! The only thing I would suggest is that you make a unisex nn out of a female name.
For example, my really given name is [name]Catherine[/name]. But I’ve gone by [name]Casey[/name] my entire life. I dont love the name [name]Casey[/name], but I use it in almost every situation because I’m conditioned to it being my name. I do love, however, that on formal documents and other circumstances (like on my diploma, drivers license, etc) my name is a traditional female name. [name]Charlie[/name] from [name]Charlotte[/name] is another example of this. Of course, this is only a suggestion from my personal experience, you should name the baby whatever feel right!
That being said, I like [name]Eden[/name] the best out of your names, followed closely by [name]Avery[/name]. [name]Quinn[/name] is ok also, but the rest of the names I associate too much with boys.
