About five trillion. Where I live the people keep using the most boring names over and over for centuries.
I have taught two [name_f]Gladys[/name_f]’ though and one [name_f]Viridiana[/name_f] so it hasn’t all been boring.

I knew of 2 young ladies back when I was in high school with highly uncommon names. One was named “Tangular” & the other had a name that I couldn’t spell, but it sounded like “Nam-yu-ki”.
Then, not too long ago, I heard some people talking one day about a woman with a name that sounded like “[name_f]Ki[/name_f]-lem-boo-ka”. Yikes!!!
Soooo many! [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Alessia[/name_f], [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Colette[/name_f], and [name_f]Vera[/name_f] are just a few that I love and don’t understand why they aren’t heard of more. They’re long, feminine, and aside from [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], end in -a or the long E sound that people love.

Personally I like my names to be unpopular so most of my favorite names are ranked below the top 500. However the 2 names I feel should be more popular than they are are [name_f]Dinah[/name_f] & [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. With all the popularity of the ‘eye’ sound in names (like [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_u]Riley[/name_u]) and 2 syllable names ending in ‘ah’ (like [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f]) and the popularity of ‘anna’ names with vintage names like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] & [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] coming back the fact that these 2 don’t even rank on the popularity list is crazy to me
