I’ve posted on here a few times for feedback on names. I thought we had settled on [name_u]Van[/name_u], but as my due date gets closer I am more unsure of the name. Our older son is named [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and I felt 100% settled on his name before he was born, but I am not feeling that way about any names this time for our son. I am open to any and all suggestions at this point as I feel we have looked at so many names that I need a new perspective. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for the suggestions. I love [name_u]Reid[/name_u], but can’t use it due to family members. [name_u]Max[/name_u] is another one of my favorites but we heard it so many times at tball over the summer. I also love [name_m]Knox[/name_m] but can’t get my husband on board with it.
You’re welcome! Here are some more based off of [name_u]Reid[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], & [name_m]Knox[/name_m]~

I really like [name_m]Colt[/name_m] but our last name starts with a cole sound and I’m afraid it sounds bad. My husband also likes [name_m]Colt[/name_m]. I think it’s the reason I am not 100% on [name_u]Van[/name_u]. A few weeks ago I also really liked [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]. I’m just so torn and feel like I’m all over the place on these names!
Maybe you could wait until he’s born and see what fits him best? FWIW, I like [name_u]Van[/name_u] and think [name_u]Van[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]- sounds great.
A few more suggestions~

What about [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Vin[/name_m], [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u], [name_m]Vance[/name_m], [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m], [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], [name_m]Lance[/name_m], [name_u]Cam[/name_u], [name_u]Sam[/name_u], [name_m]Dan[/name_m]. [name_m]Thos[/name_m] could be replacements for [name_u]Van[/name_u].
You like [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Knox[/name_m] so:
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]
[name_u]Pax[/name_u]
[name_u]Paxton[/name_u]
[name_m]Baxter[/name_m]
[name_m]Braxton[/name_m]
[name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
[name_m]Matt[/name_m]/[name_m]Matthew[/name_m]
[name_m]Mack[/name_m]/[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]/[name_m]Mackson[/name_m]
[name_u]Mason[/name_u]
[name_m]Jax[/name_m]
[name_m]Ajax[/name_m]
[name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_m]Fox[/name_m]
[name_m]Maddox[/name_m]
For [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], what about:
[name_m]Calvin[/name_m]
[name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_m]Callen[/name_m]
[name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
[name_m]Malcolm[/name_m]
[name_u]Cal[/name_u]
I think the best options are:
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_m]Maddox[/name_m]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] is a lovely name and when I hear it I would match it with…
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
[name_m]Cain[/name_m]
[name_m]Reeves[/name_m] (if you like but can’t use [name_u]Reid[/name_u] then this is a good alternative)
[name_u]Addison[/name_u]
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]
[name_m]Hendrix[/name_m]
[name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m]
I don’t think it’s so much the name you’re unsure of as much as you’re antsy about having another baby! I’ve named 10 babies, and I’ve felt sure about some and unsure about some, but there’s always some amount of anxiety. I’ve found it helpful to back off thinking about it for awhile until my head clears - sometimes that’s a few days, and sometimes it’s more than a month. [name_m]Just[/name_m] put it on the back burner and focus on other things for awhile.
[name_u]Van[/name_u] is a perfectly good name, and it sounds like a brother to a [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]. But if you come back after a while and find you’re ready to move on to something different, here are a few suggestions. (To me, you seem to like short names that are just off from mainstream.)
[name_u]Tate[/name_u]/[name_u]Tatum[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_m]Gage[/name_m]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_m]Gaines[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_m]Brant[/name_m]
My husband and I actually discussed [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] yesterday and added it to the list
Thanks you are probably right about me being a little anxious. I also think part of it is That we have had some negative feedback on [name_u]Van[/name_u] from family members and it has kind of bothered me.

If you like [name_u]Van[/name_u], why not use [name_u]Evan[/name_u]?
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_u]Evan[/name_u] sounds great!
Thanks for the suggestion, but we aren’t really fans of the longer forms of van such as [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], evander, [name_u]Evan[/name_u] or [name_m]Ivan[/name_m]. If we go with [name_u]Van[/name_u] as our pick we want it to be just [name_u]Van[/name_u].
