Hello naming cohorts,
I recently found a few names I had never heard of on this delightful site, and I think I like them! I’m curious how others feel about them. I love that they feel new and unique, but they’re real names and not yoonik.
[name]Annora[/name] - comes from the word honor. You could have the nickname [name]Ann[/name], [name]Anne[/name], or [name]Annie[/name]. I think it’s beautiful written and spoken.
[name]Elowen[/name] – this is a Cornish name, if I remember correctly. I personally would not use it, but it is pretty. You could have the nickname [name]Elle[/name], which is just charming. (for me it sounds a little too [name]Lord[/name] of the Rings, a la [name]Arwen[/name]).
[name]Senara[/name] – I love this name! She’s a saint/mermaid in mythology (sounds like their is not a lot of documented history, so it depends on who you ask). I love S names that end in A, but [name]Samantha[/name] is too popular/common for me, and [name]Samara[/name] has issues (the [name]Ring[/name]).
All right, so have at it. What do you naming gurus think? Would you consider using [name]Annora[/name] or [name]Senara[/name] for a girl? Would you like being named [name]Annora[/name] or [name]Senara[/name]?
