There are few names I find that I have only ever heard or seen once.
Glenavon is one of them.
There’s a local artist in my area named Glenavon and I’ve always found her name evocative.
Though I’m not sure if it has any history of being a name used by others, it combines the [name_u]Glen[/name_u]/[name_u]Glenn[/name_u]/[name_f]Glenda[/name_f] I like with the [name_m]Avon[/name_m] of Avonlea which I also like.
It sounds Celtic, a bit like [name_f]Avalon[/name_f].
Has anyone else ever heard of this name or met anyone with it? Impressions? Though if you flat out detest it and that’s all you have to say, that’'s not really going to add much to the conversation.
