Im looking for suggestions on either a first name or middle name. We really have our heart set on either Lovely-SevAnn for her first name or [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] [name_u]Sevyn[/name_u] for her middle names (December baby). I want the 2 names to stay together, in that order. Problem is I cant find a first name or/ a middle name that would go with it. It also doesnt help that we have a theme that we want to keep as she is our 7th daughter.
-All our girls first name end with 'Ann in some form (example-LiliAnn, RiAnn, OliviAnn)
-We absolute do not like (for us) MaryAnn, RoxAnn, RoseAnn, or ViviAnn. Also, JuliAnn or similar form is out as our last name is similar and sounds like [name_m]Caesar[/name_m].
Middle names are completely open. (Love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] but doesnt go. Also like [name_u]Oakley[/name_u], [name_f]Esmeray[/name_f], [name_f]Evadne[/name_f].
We understand that the names [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] (top 1500s) or [name_u]Sevyn[/name_u] (top 600s) is not everyones cup of tea, but thats the name we love and sticking with (in some way)? So please be nice and respectful… please (Ive found people posting my daughters names in the past, making fun of their names. Which hurts since they all have meaning).
Dont mind ultra rare names, just nothing to out there.
I also agree to put Lovely-Sevyn in the middle spot and choose another -Ann name to match the theme. I second the suggestion of HollyAnn for a [name_u]December[/name_u] baby!
I would suggest using [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] [name_u]Sevyn[/name_u] as her middle names, for the reasons that the people I know with dashes (or apostrophes) and capitalized letters (other than the first obv) in their first names have complained about having trouble with legal forms, registration, etc. I think it’s great that you’ve found a name that’s meaningful to you, but for ease for your future child I think it would be best to use that name in the middle spot because Lovely-SevAnn has both a dash and a non-first capitalized letter.
Here are some suggestions for first names, some that traditionally end in -Ann, but also I feel like that’s a pretty versatile suffix and can be put onto almost any one or two syllable name!
BethAnn
BritAnn
CarolAnn
CaitlAnn
DevAnn
DoriAnn
DylAnn
JoAnn
JoyAnn
MegAnn
ShanAnn (Shanon)
SuzAnn / SusAnn
CyAnn
FallAnn / FalAnn
FloriAnn
CareAnn (might be a bit too bad publicity at the moment to use though with all the [name_f]Karen[/name_f] memes)
ShyAnn / CheyAnn / ChyAnn / ShiAnn
SylviAnn
TeegAnn
If there isn’t a name that you’re loving with your pattern you could try to switch it (though #7 is a hard time to break a pattern I’m sure) something like:
I love both [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] and [name_u]Sevyn[/name_u] but I’m not a fan of SevAnn spelled like that, so I’d say to find a different [name_f]Ann[/name_f] name to use as a first. What about:
RowAnn
JordAnn
TeegAnn
KeegAnn
ReagAnn
DylAnn
