[name_u]Yale[/name_u] - uber pretentious.

[name_u]Keats[/name_u] is kind off cool.

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], in my top 10. [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] honors family and has special meaning for us.

Same as with the girlies. Likes & dislikes.

[name_u]Auberon[/name_u] - I prefer [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] too. [name_u]Auberon[/name_u] is too aubergine. But I do like [name_u]Oberon[/name_u]. I do.
[name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] - [name_f]Love[/name_f].
[name_m]Balthazar[/name_m] - Growing on me, especially since its use in @mega_muffin’s son’s name!
[name_m]Benno[/name_m] - as a cute nn for [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], yes.
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] - My favourite on your list. If I was into unusual names, this would top my list.

[name_m]Laurent[/name_m], [name_m]Massimo[/name_m], [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], [name_m]Piero[/name_m], [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] - I’m loving these foreign dudes! There’s a lot of sass and sexiness in there. Not sure if that’s what you want from a baby name, but hey.
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] - I’d love to see more male Sashas!
[name_u]Cedar[/name_u] - could work on the right kind of boy.

[name_m]Fox[/name_m] - and now that stupid fox song is in my head :stuck_out_tongue: Tis an animal and should remain as such.
[name_m]Gable[/name_m] - I just dislike. And I don’t know why.
[name_u]Keats[/name_u] - great namesake and all that but I think it’d fare better in the middle.
[name_m]Mingus[/name_m] - waaay too close to minge for my liking! :s
[name_m]Morrissey[/name_m] - a one-person surname. I’d assume you were a massive fan.
[name_u]Sky[/name_u] - even on girls I’ve never liked it. I’ve never met a nice [name_u]Sky[/name_u]/[name_u]Skye[/name_u]. And then there’s the broadcasting company.
[name_m]Thelonious[/name_m] - would make an intriguing middle but it’s a little much.
[name_m]Wilder[/name_m] - than? I’ve always disliked this name. I think it’s a bit silly really.
[name_u]Yale[/name_u] - perhaps, in the middle. But I still think of locks and keys.

[name_u]Auberon[/name_u] – sounds strong and powerful, has a great meaning and wonderful ties to literature
[name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] – looove lovvvve loveeee, it’d be top of my boys list if i didn’t already love [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] for a girl!
[name_m]Fox[/name_m] – this is quirky and cool, debating whether i like it better as a first or a middle
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] – spunky meaning and sounds cool and sleek
[name_m]Odysseus[/name_m] – more so for a middle
[name_m]Thelonious[/name_m] – ^^
[name_m]Wilder[/name_m] – loooooooooooove! strong yet cheeky!

[name_m]Balthazar[/name_m] – sounds super strong, i like it!
[name_m]Benno[/name_m] – this almost made the love list!!
[name_u]Cedar[/name_u] – reminds me of apple cedar
[name_m]Gable[/name_m] – reminds me off the wall between the sloping roofs, but nn [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] is nice!
[name_u]Keats[/name_u] – i like it! last names of celebrities or poets are becoming more common, which isn’t a bad thing!
[name_m]Laird[/name_m] – cool meaning but it reminds me of lard
[name_m]Laurent[/name_m] – i like this! it’s strong and vintage, i also like [name_m]Yves[/name_m] :stuck_out_tongue:
[name_m]Massimo[/name_m] – the meaning is great (no pun intended :p) really like it!
[name_m]Mingus[/name_m] – ^^ but much prefer [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] or [name_m]Massimo[/name_m], [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] etc
[name_m]Morrissey[/name_m] – i actually really like it! i think i may like it more with one ‘s’
[name_m]Piero[/name_m] – realllly like it! sounds exotic!
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] – almost made the love list! might seem more masculine if spelt [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] or [name_u]Sascha[/name_u]
[name_u]Sky[/name_u] – i prefer [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] for a boy
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m] – i like it! it has the ‘o’ ending which is popular!
[name_u]Yale[/name_u] – i think it’s to connected to the university

[name_u]Auberon[/name_u] - so handsome, it sounds powerful and yet reserved at the same time which I love
[name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] - not one of my favorites, no particular reason I just don’t get it
[name_m]Balthazar[/name_m] - dislike, too over the top
[name_m]Benno[/name_m] - comes off as nicknamey and not in a good way
[name_u]Cedar[/name_u]- great underused nature name!
[name_m]Fox[/name_m] - love it! Foxes are basically my spirit animal… They’re beautiful, clever, sly, wise, athletic, and a little bit devious. In other words they’re perfect
[name_m]Gable[/name_m] - [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Gable[/name_m]? [name_m]Gable[/name_m] roof? Not my favorite
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] - can’t stand it
[name_u]Keats[/name_u] - love this one, very handsome and literary
[name_m]Laird[/name_m] - strikes me as lard…

[name_u]Sky[/name_u] - not my favorite nature name, comes across as a little trashy
[name_m]Thelonious[/name_m] - just too much for me
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m] - love! This name is just so handsome and rare without being unknown. It’s perfect
[name_m]Wilder[/name_m] - love love love! I don’t care what people say about tempting date I am head over heels for wilder.
[name_u]Yale[/name_u] - so pretentious and yet so awesome, I personally prefer it on a girl though

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]. Like [name_m]Laurent[/name_m]…I think…my reservation is that it feels just a bit pretentious

[name_u]Auberon[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] (this spelling). It’s the spelling [name_m]Wm[/name_m] [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] used in MSND - which is one of my favorite plays. Also I find A names so easy to come by and love - you have [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and now potentially also [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m], but great O names for boys seem to be much more seldom to me.
[name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] - I love, love, love [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and didn’t think I’d really like the male version ever but in the past few months it’s grown on me. I love it’s softer, radiant feel and regal tone.
[name_m]Balthazar[/name_m] - It’s intriguing, but it doesn’t wow me. Can’t put my finger on why…
[name_m]Benno[/name_m] - I like [name_m]Benno[/name_m] as a nn. As a fn it reminds me of a dogs name. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] nn [name_m]Benno[/name_m] could be cute.
[name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_m]Gable[/name_m], [name_u]Sky[/name_u] - I like word names a lot, usually as mn. The reason being all fn word name people I’ve meet have made me wonder more about the parents of the person and less about who they are. I find that I have to work at not having a preconceived notion of this person who was clearly named by hippies (ie: [name_f]Sunshine[/name_f]).
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] - “My name is [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] Montoya…” how can one not love this?
[name_u]Keats[/name_u], [name_m]Laird[/name_m], [name_u]Yale[/name_u], [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], [name_m]Morrissey[/name_m] - Feels like a LN as a FN contingency. Nothing wrong with that, just nms.
[name_m]Laurent[/name_m] - I rather dislike [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] - it’s a personal association thing. This always feels like [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] with a t added.
[name_m]Massimo[/name_m] -
[name_m]Mingus[/name_m] - Theoretically,I like it. I think it’s fun and different. Realistically, [name_m]Mingus[/name_m] makes me think of cats and ferrets.
[name_m]Odysseus[/name_m] - great name. No one will ever be able to spell it, but everyone will be familiar with it. lol.
[name_m]Piero[/name_m] - I think I prefer this as a cute nn for [name_m]Peter[/name_m] or [name_m]Pedro[/name_m].
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] - I dislike this name but… only because my mom would have chosen it for me if I had been a boy and as a kid I always wanted my boy name to be [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] (Hey-sus) so I could have the nn [name_m]Zeus[/name_m]. (Why I didn’t just want [name_m]Zeus[/name_m] to begin with is beyond me).
[name_m]Thelonious[/name_m] - Theoloious always feels like a lispy, goofy version of the word felonious to me. Which is why I would never use it. There are great alternatives like [name_m]Theron[/name_m] (I meet a real one - in his 60s - the other day. [name_m]Theron[/name_m] White! Made my week!) I’d consider over it.
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m] - I like this. It’s cute for a kid but has a great mysterious, sexy, rugged vibe for an adult. (I could also totally see it with a wiry, geeky still sexy vibe though.)

If you were to add one name to your list I’d consider: [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m], [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] or [name_m]Viggo[/name_m].

[name_m]Fox[/name_m] - this is the only name I like from your list, I know a little toddler with this name, he is the cutest thing ever, so adventurous and daring.

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] - when I hear this name, I think of a girl, possibly b/c I went to high school w/ a girl named [name_u]Sasha[/name_u].

[name_m]Balthazar[/name_m], [name_u]Keats[/name_u], [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. Biblical and literary. Real names of substance and creativity.

Some not great names?
[name_m]Benno[/name_m] sounds like a drug dealer.
[name_m]Fox[/name_m] is a pointy-faced animal.
[name_m]Mingus[/name_m] sounds like a body part.
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m] sounds like Viagra.

You have some really awesome names here!

I will list my top 4.

  1. [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]
  2. [name_m]Gable[/name_m]
  3. [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]
  4. [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m]
