I have lots of word names for girls, but not so many for boys. I made a topic a few months ago just asking for word names for boys, but I’d really like some more unusual ones, brave but leaning more towards guilty pleasure. I generally like nature names, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Here are the ones currently on my list:
Archer
Atlas
August
Bay
Briarwood
Caspian
Everest
Evergreen
Forest
Fox
Grey
Ives
Jay
Rain
River
Robin
Rosebay
Rosewood
Woodlark
I actually have [name_u]Nightingale[/name_u], [name_u]Meadowlark[/name_u], [name_f]Evening[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] as girls names
But [name_u]Stellar[/name_u], [name_u]Cove[/name_u] and [name_u]Elm[/name_u] are lovely, thank you!
[name_u]Foxglove[/name_u] is really growing on me! And I like [name_u]Mariner[/name_u] and Seafarer. They would make a nice link to my grandfather who was in the navy
Word names are my absolute favorite! [name_f]My[/name_f] three kids are named [name_u]Noble[/name_u], [name_u]Rune[/name_u] (daughter, but also works for a boy), and [name_u]Frost[/name_u]. Other names I love for boys and had on my list (though many work for either gender):
[name_u]Day[/name_u]
[name_u]Solace[/name_u] (Sol would be an adorable nickname!)
[name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]
[name_u]Light[/name_u]
[name_m]Boon[/name_m] (prefer this “word” spelling versus the surname spelling)
Pond
Merryweather
[name_u]Cloud[/name_u]
[name_m]Astro[/name_m]
[name_m]Crow[/name_m]
[name_u]Merit[/name_u]
[name_u]Finch[/name_u]
[name_m]Everhart[/name_m]
Fray
Grimm (not sure if this counts)
Kite
[name_u]Marvel[/name_u]
Remedy
[name_u]Nimbus[/name_u]
Pyrus
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u]
Seabrook
[name_u]Evergreen[/name_u] (maybe more middle name)
[name_u]Vale[/name_u]
Sorry for any repeats and good luck finding just the right name. (:
