So I have been killing myself trying to come up with a name to complement [name]Andreas[/name]. Then it hits me, why not use [name]Peter[/name] or a varient of it to honor my families ln. It is important to me to pass it on in some way. So which do you like better: the traditional [name]Peter[/name] or the exotic [name]Piero[/name]? [name]Both[/name] with the nn [name]Piers[/name].
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] ‘[name]Cruz[/name]’ “[name]Piers[/name]”
or
[name]Piero[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] ‘[name]Cruz[/name]’ “[name]Piers[/name]”
or
[name]Pietro[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] ‘[name]Cruz[/name]’ “[name]Piers[/name]”
with [name]Andreas[/name] [name]John[/name] ‘[name]Cruz[/name]’ “[name]Ace[/name]”
I really like [name]Piero[/name] nn [name]Piers[/name]. [name]Peter[/name] is cute too and is a classic but I hate the nn [name]Pete[/name] if people were to start calling him that.
Im not a huge fan of [name]Pete[/name] either. I just love the family significance behind this name. I like that [name]Piero[/name] slightly distances itself but still honors family.
[name]Hi[/name] [name]Leah[/name], I prefer [name]Peter[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] rather than [name]Piero[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] with [name]Andreas[/name]. [name]Peter[/name] just “fits” better and looks “right”. Have you considered the Spanish [name]Pedro[/name] or the French [name]Pierre[/name]?
FYI- [name]Princess[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] of Monaco has two sons, [name]Andrea[/name] and [name]Pierre[/name].
I dont care for [name]Pierre[/name] and [name]Pedro[/name] is not an option. [name]Petros[/name] is the only of form apart from [name]Piero[/name] that I like. [name]Peter[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] is still an option, although I would prefer [name]Sebastian[/name] [name]Peter[/name] myself but my other half hates [name]Sebastian[/name] The best I can do is get it as a mn.
I like [name]Peter[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] too. My nephew is [name]Peter[/name] and no one would dare call him [name]Pete[/name]. [name]Even[/name] in the [name]Navy[/name], he’s [name]Peter[/name]. Since [name]Andreas[/name] is [name]German[/name] and Scandinavian, [name]Peter[/name] works ([name]German[/name]) and the Norwegian [name]Peder[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] would work as well (nn [name]Per[/name]). I prefer [name]Pietro[/name] to [name]Piero[/name], though, as [name]Piero[/name] is a nn in Italian for [name]Pietro[/name].
Maybe you could just name him [name]Piers[/name]? Or [name]Pierce[/name]… I am considering [name]Peter[/name] nn [name]Pierce[/name]. But if you’re not a big fan of [name]Peter[/name] and you plan on calling him [name]Piers[/name] anyway, you could just give him that name. I’m personally not a huge fan of [name]Piero[/name] unless you’re Italian.
I love [name]Piers[/name], but with a ln sounding like [name]Cruz[/name] it just doesnt flow very well. [name]Piers[/name] [name]Cruz[/name]? My mil is Italian, but my entire family has [name]German[/name] heritage, as does my SO’s dad. We are predicting blond haired/blue eyed/light skin babies And yes, [name]Peter[/name] would probably be a better fit than [name]Piero[/name]. [name]Julian[/name] is really the only other boys name I love, I just wish is wasnt so popular. [name]Edmund[/name] is also one we have thrown around.
