I made a new one as I couldn’t find my other post - Opinions welcome - other names welcome. [name]Harriet[/name] & [name]Hannah[/name] No No’s. No boys names please or surnames unless they are not popular surnames. - Surname K ends in ER. - Sibling [name]Amy[/name]-[name]Louise[/name].
I wrote my opinions on the name itself, I left in the best fn/mn combinations and maybe added a few of my own.
[name]Heidi[/name]- This name is so beautiful! I love it.
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Brianna[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Bethan[/name] [name]Heidi[/name] Belina
Haidey- I think this name sounds exactly like the country Haiti, just spelled differently. What about [name]Hailey[/name] or [name]Hadley[/name]?
Haidey [name]Blue[/name]
Haidey [name]Brielle[/name]
Haidey [name]Blanche[/name]
Haidey [name]Bronwyn[/name]
Haidey [name]Bay[/name]
[name]Heavenly[/name]- This is just two steps behind being as bad as [name]Nevaeh[/name]. With such lovely names on your list like [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Honora[/name], why would you choose this?
[name]Heavenly[/name] [name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Heavenly[/name] [name]Blanche[/name]
[name]Heavenly[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name]- I think this name is really pretty. I don’t like too many word names, but this is lovely! [name]Harmony[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Brooke[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Blanche[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Blair[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’- This is GORGEOUS. [name]Honora[/name] is so pretty and classy, and [name]Honey[/name] is an adorable nn! This is by far the best on your list! [name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Brielle[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Briony[/name] [name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Bellamy[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name]- This name is so beautiful! I love it.
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Brianna[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Bethan[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] Belina - This looks weird. If you mean [name]Belinda[/name] - it’s too 70’s for me.
Haidey- I think this name sounds exactly like the country Haiti, just spelled differently. What about [name]Hailey[/name] or [name]Hadley[/name]? - I say this Hay-dee which is in no way associated to Haiti. - [name]Hadley[/name] reminds me of a pub in my local area. [name]Hailey[/name] i went to school with 2 [name]Hayley[/name]'s.
Haidey [name]Blue[/name]
Haidey [name]Brielle[/name]
Haidey [name]Blanche[/name]
Haidey [name]Bronwyn[/name]
Haidey [name]Bay[/name] - Where I live is called … [name]Bay[/name] so would be kinda odd naming a kid after where I live.
[name]Heavenly[/name]- This is just two steps behind being as bad as [name]Nevaeh[/name]. With such lovely names on your list like [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Honora[/name], why would you choose this? - I find that very affensive. - My grampy died in [name]January[/name] and I wanted something to associate with him being away - [name]Heaven[/name]. which I have never liked [name]Heaven[/name] because of being changed to [name]Nevaeh[/name]. - I found [name]Heavenly[/name] on a baby name list and I think it’s pretty.
[name]Heavenly[/name] [name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Heavenly[/name] [name]Blanche[/name]
[name]Heavenly[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name]- I think this name is really pretty. I don’t like too many word names, but this is lovely! - I’m kinda the same about word names.
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Brooke[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Blanche[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Blair[/name] - I don’t really like this I just think it’s a boys name or has the feel of a boys name.
[name]Harmony[/name] [name]Belle[/name] - I don’t like this either to me its a nickname for [name]Isabelle[/name].
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’- This is GORGEOUS. [name]Honora[/name] is so pretty and classy, and [name]Honey[/name] is an adorable nn! This is by far the best on your list!
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Brielle[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Briony[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Bellamy[/name] - No. This is a famous footballers surname who plays for my team.
[name]Honora[/name] ‘[name]Honey[/name]’ [name]Blythe[/name] - I don’t like place names. This to me is too masculine.
[name]Honora[/name] is the only first name that I’d consider from this list. [name]Heavenly[/name] would be a very challenging name to have your whole life, in my opinion.
[name]Honora[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] is beautiful.
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Blossom[/name] is the only ones I like, [name]Heavenly[/name] is just too much, borderline ridiculous… imo
Haidey sounds like Haitie and I’m not liking the “hate” sound, it also seems super trendy
[name]Harmony[/name] is alright I guess, but too much with other nouns/word names
Some better H first names:
[name]Haley[/name]
[name]Henrietta[/name]
[name]Hyacinth[/name]
[name]Heather[/name]
[name]Holly[/name]
[name]Hermione[/name]
[name]Hillary[/name]
[name]Hera[/name]
I have answered these above but I will answer again.
[name]Heavenly[/name] is just too much, borderline ridiculous… imo - I find this very affensive. My grampy died in [name]January[/name] and as I don’t like heaven due to people changing the name to [name]Nevaeh[/name]. - [name]Heavenly[/name] was the only other alternative to [name]Heaven[/name]. - Any other suggestions close to [name]Heavenly[/name].
Haidey sounds like Haitie and I’m not liking the “hate” sound, it also seems super trendy. - This has no assassination with Haitie. I pronounce this as Hay-[name]Dee[/name]. Which i also said in my above comments.
Some better H first names: - I find this offensive also ‘Some better first name’ That is very rude. I don’t appreciate that. All of these names have meanings behind them and if you asked why I had the names instead of saying ‘here is some better names’ and ‘is too much borderline ridiculous’.
[name]Haley[/name] - As said above I went to school with 2 [name]Hayley[/name]'s so this is out.
[name]Henrietta[/name]/[name]Heather[/name]/[name]Hillary[/name] - These are too 60’s to me.
[name]Hyacinth[/name] - I do quite like this I’m just concerned about it being old.
[name]Holly[/name] - I like this but I went to school with a few [name]Holly[/name]'s and never liked any of them.
[name]Hermione[/name] - I like this but reminds me of [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name].
[name]Hera[/name] - I have never heard of this one. - [name]How[/name] would you pronounce this.
I’m sorry you found my comment about [name]Heavenly[/name] offensive- I didn’t mean to insult you, it’s just my opinion on the name. I’m sorry about your grandfather. I do stick to my opinion about the name itself, however. [name]May[/name] I suggest [name]Bellatrix[/name] as a middle name (it’s the name of a star, and has a lovely celestial connection) or [name]Hana[/name] as a first, which is Arabic for “bliss”. I think they both imply a subtle connection to heaven, and sound more beautiful. And by the way- Blythe isn’t known as a place name, but a word name that I place in the same lovely category as Harmony. A lot of people might associate it with the name of Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother, Blythe Danner.
Is there anything else that would be better than [name]Heavenly[/name] but not too unique. - I like that [name]Bellatrix[/name] but kinda looks strange to me as if it’s been made up. - I don’t like [name]Hannah[/name] as I know of a few people with this name. [name]Hana[/name] to me looks strange as it’s spelt like this.
[name]Blythe[/name] is actually a place in Staffordshire, [name]England[/name] - In which to me is a place name.
Other names that have celestial connections:
[name]Helene[/name] (wouldn’t [name]Helene[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] be a darling name?)
[name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Halley[/name]
I know someone with a daughter called [name]Hallie[/name] so I think [name]Halley[/name] she’d accuse me of copying her, Although I quite like Hallianna ([name]Halley[/name]-[name]Anna[/name]). - [name]Helene[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] is a very cute name but it’s slightly dated for my taste.
Other H names I like
Hanelle - [name]Hannah[/name] & [name]Joelle[/name].
Hallianna
Havenliegh
[name]Hedi[/name]-[name]Rose[/name] (Would initals be H.R.B or H.B).
[name]Hero[/name]
[name]Hillaree[/name]
[name]Honora[/name] -
[name]Hyacinth[/name] - [name]Just[/name] concerned about it being slightly old.
Sorry I’m posting so much- I just had one last thing! I love the idea of [name]Honora[/name] [name]Bianca[/name], but to avoid the double -a ending, what about [name]Honorine[/name] [name]Bianca[/name]? [name]Honorine[/name] is the French version of [name]Honora[/name].
That’s fine. It’s nice to know someone wants help.
I love [name]Honora[/name] [name]Bianca[/name]. I don’t mind the double A sound. As not many people would know her middle name.
[name]Do[/name] you think there’s any other names to go with [name]Honora[/name]. - I dunno why I like [name]Honora[/name]. - I’m trying to have Irish, English and Welsh together.
I’m sorry if you found it “offensive” but I was stating my HONEST opinion and as I said “In my opinon/imo” which means to me that’s how I feel, maybe not for you. Again it’s all MY opinion and you are free to take it or leave it.
I understand [name]Heavenly[/name] may be important to you, but what if you child ends up being an atheist? OR what if she ends up being a terrible monster and not “heavenly”? (not that she would, but nouns like that just don’t work on people imo) With Haidey, I think you’ll have pronunciation errors if it’s already been said wrong twice…
[name]Hera[/name] is a Greek goddess, wife of [name]Zeus[/name], it is said like Her(a combination of hair and her)-uh
I love [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Honora[/name] is nice too. The others I wouldn’t use, but do understand your reason for wanting to use heavenly. Personally, I would try to go more subtle on the heaven connotation, I thought the idea is naming her after a star was good. The problems finding a star that starts with h or b. do her initials have to be H. b. last name, or could they be H. A different letter. Last name. Or B. H. Last name.??? I ink [name]Heidi[/name] [name]Bianca[/name] is beautiful! I saw you liked the name hilaree, personally, I would stick to the well known spelling of [name]Hillary[/name], otherwise yourdaughterwill be correcting people every where she goes. Good luck!
