I need help! We have a Rex and I’m due with our second son tomorrow and have 2 names but can’t decide.

I prefer [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u]. [name_u]Rex[/name_u] definitely feels more adventurous to me than [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] or [name_m]Rob[/name_m].

[name_u]Rex[/name_u] is definitely a bit left of field where I’m from (Australia) but neither [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] or [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] are popular names for kids here either. Basically every baby boy born in the last 10 years has been called [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_u]Oliver[/name_u], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_u]William[/name_u], [name_u]Jack[/name_u] or [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
I can almost guarantee either [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] or [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] will not have a kid with the same name in their class which is what I hated as a kid! (3 Jamie’s, 3 Jessica’s, 4 Sarah’s!)

Both are sweet, but I slightly prefer [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] together!

I’m going to go with [name_u]Robbie[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] are really sweet together and I prefer the different initials in [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] to [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] which I find just a little bit difficult to say. Both are lovely options though.

I voted for [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] but how do you feel about [name_u]Bobby[/name_u]? Because [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] sound very cute and more cohesive to me.

I love [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u]! I do have an association with [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] together, but I don’t think most people
would get it.
