[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] is at all usable anymore? Why or why not?
What type of middle name would you pair with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]?
What nickname would you give [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]?
I think [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] is fun. But I expect [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] to have a comedic personality. Usually I don’t attach personality traits to names at all, but in this case I totally imagine a big sense of humor.
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Desmond[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Gerard[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Harris[/name_m]
I went to high school with a [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. It seemed fine for him.
I would probably pair it with a longer middle name to balance it out.
There’s no nickname that I can think of.
I think it’s usable and unique. I went to elementary, primary, and secondary school with a [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. It seemed fine for him at the time and he didn’t get made fun of.

I don’t think a nickname is necessary, but two I can think of off the top of my head are [name_m]Coz[/name_m] or [name_u]Mo[/name_u].
I think it’s could be usable depending on your area. I went to high school with a [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. It seemed fine for him and he didn’t get made fun of.

I like [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], and think it fun, cute and has somewhat of an eccentric/loopy type feel to it, but that right there might be the issue for many as it might feel overly odd (…I like odd). I do like it but I prefer [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m].
I think it usable, maybe more-so as a middle if you’re afraid of it feeling too unconventional and ‘strange’ (which you must in some way if you question its usability).
I guess for a middle I’d go with something more traditional so that if he does grow to dislike or feel embarrassed with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] in certain situations he has something to fall back on? [name_m]Cos[/name_m]/[name_m]Coz[/name_m] makes a nice nickname, but I don’t think there are any others other than not directly related ones.
I absolutely think it’s usable! I have a second cousin named [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and he’s made me adore this name.
The [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] I know (he’s 16) has the middle name [name_m]John[/name_m] (which I think is nice and grounding - I think you’d need to go with quite a sensible middle name for [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. Other options could be [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]) and he is effortlessly cool. His nickname is [name_m]Cos[/name_m] (pronounced [name_m]KOZ[/name_m]) which I really like (although his cousin is called [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] nn [name_m]Oz[/name_m], which can get a bit confusing!)
I want to say yes. I love the movie “Singing in the [name_u]Rain[/name_u]” and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] in that movie as amazing. But I’m also a part of the generation that grew up watching “The Fairly Odd Parents” and the dumb fairy was named [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] (it was a stupid show, I hope that association wouldn’t ruin the name for you, as it did for me). So I have that association. I think if you live in a more hip area it would work, but down where I live in the south, you’d raise some eyebrows. I really like the name [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] (and I agree with the awesome suggestion of [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m], I love that name) but I think it depends on how daring you are and how traditional your living area is. And if you deem it unusable, it is a great name for a pet.
I think of [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] from Fairly Odd Parents too… I didnt know if anyone else did.
I’ve never heard of anyone called [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] before, and frankly, I would imagine him to be a cartoon character, not someone in real life.
I think of [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] Kramer from Seinfeld - surprised nobody has mentioned this.
He is such a distinctive character (and not in a good way [name_f]IMO[/name_f]) and that show is so timeless and popular, that I think it would be an extremely common comparison to be made. And the comparison will span many generations.
I know a baby [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and even though he’s so sweet I still think of Kramer or I think of a clown name. [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] the Clown…not sure why. Maybe because it’s similar to Bozo to me.
I like it, but my first association is Kramer from Seinfeld. Still think it is usable, though. I like the nickname [name_m]Cos[/name_m]/[name_m]Coz[/name_m].
I also think of the magazine, which isn’t a good association.
Yup, Seinfeld here too. Clownish is what comes to mind. I like it as a nn but not a name that ages well and suits a variety of situations.
I just wanted to chime in and say I really like the name [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and I would suggest [name_m]Cos[/name_m] (sounds like [name_m]Coz[/name_m]) as a nickname!
