Using Foreign Names

Well, my parents are from a certain country in [name]Asia[/name]. But I would be open to using any name in a variety of countries, and the US has a bunch of people from different countries who carry their naming influences with them. I always thought that there would at least be a middle name that would honor the [name]Asian[/name] heritage if I have kids. But I wouldnt hesitate to choose a name that isn’t connected to me ethnically if I turned out to like that name.

I don’t think there really is a line that we can draw to satisfy everyone, because its even confusing me now. I guess I would be annoyed if like a Japanese name that can be pronounced in English, like [name]Suki[/name], became popular enough to be in the top 20 or so from non-Japanese parents. But, really, there isn’t anything I could do to stop that.
