Using the name Karen?

So I was thinking this morning on the name [name]Karen[/name]. It is my mother’s name. I was wondering if it is a name you would use, and if so how would you use it, as in what combos? I used [name]Katherine[/name] ([name]Sarah[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]) and felt it honored my mother  Anyway just pondering…

[name]Karen[/name] is a very pretty name, and I would use [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] to honor her.

[name]Hi[/name] Waving from here  Yes, I feel I honored her by using [name]Katherine[/name] (though she has toldl me, [name]Katherine[/name] is not the same as [name]Karen[/name]… oh well, lol!) with [name]Sarah[/name]'s name… I was just pondering the name [name]Karen[/name]. I have a friend who named her little girl, [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Karen[/name] and I thought that was so pretty. It is hard to find names that flow nicely with [name]Karen[/name].

[name]Hi[/name]!! You did definitely honor her by using [name]Katherine[/name] - all of the letters in [name]Karen[/name] are in [name]Katherine[/name]. [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Karen[/name] is very pretty! It is very hard to match names with [name]Karen[/name]. [name]How[/name] about:

[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Karen[/name]

Pretty! I also thought of [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Karen[/name]…
My combo list is getting long, but It’s just so much fun to keep adding

[name]Karen[/name] is Dutch for [name]Catherine[/name] so it works pretty well in my opinion  But then I’d recommend my name to anyone

I’ve always been very fond of the name [name]Karen[/name].

I know a five year old named [name]Karen[/name], and it is kind of refreshing to hear it on a young child.

[name]Karen[/name] is such a nice name, it definitely needs a return.

[name]Karenna[/name] is pretty…I’d use it over [name]Karen[/name], I think.

I think [name]Karen[/name] is very pretty!

I’m so glad to hear I am not the only fan of [name]Karen[/name]! To me it’s clear & strong! I also love [name]Corinne[/name] but it’s just not as down to earth & easy to pronounce!

I also like [name]Karen[/name] [name]Ann[/name] as a double name…such a throwback to my mom’s gen, but I would love to meet a young one!

I think it plays well with everything really. And it has so many great namesakes but isn’t too serious!

Oh and I’m a [name]Karen[/name] [name]Rose[/name], if that’s any use, lol.

I’ve always liked the name [name]Karen[/name]. When I was growing up, it was one of the more fashionable and cute names, yet not overused. I love the pp’s name [name]Karen[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Also:

[name]Karen[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Karen[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Karen[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]

[name]Anneliese[/name] [name]Karen[/name]
[name]Miranda[/name] [name]Karen[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Karen[/name]

[name]Karen[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is such a pretty name!

I think [name]Karen[/name] is pretty and sweet, but also no-nonsense with a pinch of spunk.

[name]Karen[/name] was pretty overused when I grew up (Australia, '80s). It’s objectively pretty, but it has a [name]Sharon[/name]/[name]Tiffany[/name]/[name]Nicole[/name] vibe for me.

I’d prefer [name]Karine[/name], or even Karinda.

What a great way to describe what the name Karen sounds like! [name]IMO[/name] it’s fine as a name choice, although I think it was more common a generation or two ago. I know a couple of [name]Karen[/name]'s who are in their 30’s. However, I think if you can find a more unique name for the middle name, then that might be better? [name]Karen[/name] [name]Paige[/name] sounds nice to me!

[name]Karina[/name] and [name]Kerensa[/name] would be options, however, after reading this thread I am kind of liking “just” [name]Karen[/name].

I think [name]Karen[/name] is okay…I like the fairytale references: “The [name]Red[/name] Shoes” anyone? And Frosty the Snowman! But I also had a babysitter by the name whom I did not like, so I’ll give it a “meh”. Then again there is the gorgeous [name]Karen[/name] [name]Gillian[/name]…I prefer [name]Maren[/name] myself but [name]Karen[/name] is still nice, especially if it’s a family name.
