Using the same name a friend uses?

Xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don’t think it’s too weird at all, especially if it’s a common name. Nobody owns a name. If you both really love the name, than I suggest you both go for it  Plus if your children grow up together, kids usually bond over the same name.

I think it’s totally fine if you both have children with the same name. You seem to have had your mind set on this one name for so long it only seems fair you get the name you were planning on using. I find it terrible if one of you had to lose their favorite name so the other could be happy.

The only other thing I have to say is if you both end up having daughters with the same name try to use different nicknames to help differentiate which girl you’re talking about. For example, if you both named your daughters [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] one might call their girl [name_u]Penny[/name_u] and the other [name_f]Nell[/name_f].

It’s not a REAL popular name but its not really different. I think it’s just over 100 on the list of popular girl names. There’s only 2 spellings. I like the more uncommon one . . . And so does she!
