I like the name [name_f]Valley[/name_f] as a first name. I like how it’s a nature name and feels unique but familiar at the same time. I don’t care for any other first names that would have [name_f]Valley[/name_f] as a nickname (ie [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]).
[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering is it too weird?
What would you think meeting a girl named [name_f]Valley[/name_f]?
I actually like [name_f]Valley[/name_f]! It’s sort of a GP for me, though, since my husband isn’t a huge fan. One of my grandmother’s aunts was named [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] “[name_f]Valley[/name_f]”, so I’ve always found it wearable, as both a nickname and a standalone name. Offbeat nature names seem to be the thing lately, so I don’t think it would be too out of place.
My mind goes to the [name_f]Valley[/name_f] Girls of the 1980s, but I am probably dating myself. I quite like [name_u]Vale[/name_u], though, and prefer it to [name_f]Valley[/name_f].
I like it and think it could stand on its own, but as others have said It’d work better as a nickname to [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_f]Valencia[/name_f], [name_f]Valeria[/name_f] or [name_f]Valeriana[/name_f]
I think it’s gorgeous, however I don’t know if I’d use it. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] so slightly GP for me, I think. A bit like [name_u]Story[/name_u]… so stand out and magical it feels like its just too good…
I think it is OK. I love many nature/floral/tree names.
Unfortunately, it reminds me of the San [name_m]Fernando[/name_m] [name_f]Valley[/name_f] and [name_f]Valley[/name_f] Girls, so I wouldn’t pick it, but it would be interesting compared to hundreds of more common names.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! I feel more confident with this name choice now. I know it’s not for everyone, but I’m glad it’s not hated by the majority! Any middle names would be appreciated as well. Thanks again!
I don’t know, I think it could definitely work as a nickname, but as a standalone I’m a bit hesitant. It does make my mind jump to [name_f]Valley[/name_f] Girls. However, it has a nice sound, and out-there nature names are in style at the moment, so it could maybe be pulled off
