Variants of Esther

I really like [name_f]Esther[/name_f] but it’s too usual should I say to go with my other names. Are there any variants of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] out there? What are you favorites?

This one’s pretty straightforward in other languages. Maybe [name_f]Hester[/name_f], Esfir, or Ishtar?

I had a great-aunt named Esterina. She was from [name_f]Italy[/name_f].

There’s always [name_f]Eszter[/name_f] (ESH-ter) or Esteri.

Hespera – I’m not certain if it is related to [name_f]Esther[/name_f], but it shares many sounds.

Like previous posters said, [name_f]Hester[/name_f] and Ishtar.

There’s also Esfir and [name_f]Estee[/name_f].

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like the sound of [name_f]Esther[/name_f], or the figure? Maybe [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f].

There is also [name_f]Este[/name_f]!
