Variation of Christopher

[name_m]Hi[/name_m],

So I am in love with [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_m]Christophe[/name_m]/[name_m]Kristof[/name_m]/ [name_m]Kristoff [/name_m]but we can’t decide which spelling we like. We are avoiding [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] as its my cousins name and while it’s nice to have him honoured we can to avoid confusion. I did suggest [name_m]Christian[/name_m] to hubby but he’s not so keen, any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

I would go with either [name_m]Kristof[/name_m] or [name_m]Kristoff[/name_m]. [name_m]Christophe[/name_m] will be mistaken for [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] a lot. I think [name_m]Kristoff[/name_m] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is fantastic!

I like [name_m]Kristoff[/name_m]. It’s different enough from [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. I’ve never heard the nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] for those names; it’s definitely better than the generic [name_u]Kris[/name_u].
