variations of favs!

Last annoying thread from me but I’ve been looking at Hungarian/Polish names and most of them are just variations of names I love, but my last name is very recognizable Hungarian and I sort of like some of them. Are the too unpronouncable or fussy??

[name_f]Izabela[/name_f]
[name_f]Katarzyna[/name_f] ([name_f]Kate[/name_f]/[name_f]Katie[/name_f])
[name_f]Anastazja[/name_f] ([name_f]Ana[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Klara[/name_f]
Brygita
Alekzandra

[name_f]Imagine[/name_f] a kindergarten learning to spell some of these let alone read it. There are a bunch of really pretty names you could use and use one of your Americanized favorites as a MN

Some suggestions:

I think they all look and sound beautiful, if you’re wanting a Hungarian or Polish spelling then go for it. The spelling doesn’t look like an issue to me at all.

I think they are all fine, and easily pronounced since, being variations, they still look familiar. I think wilkie’s comment is unfair; they aren’t that hard to spell or read, and kids learn how to spell all sorts of names without much issue.

I don’t think they’re any harder to spell or pronounce than, i.e., Alycesaundra (a kid on Toddlers and Tiaras). [name_f]Izabela[/name_f] and [name_f]Klara[/name_f] are both used in Croatia as well so I’m familiar with them, and the rest I could pronounce without any problems. If you want to honor your heritage or simply like Polish and Hungarian names, you should go for it!

Thank you!! All but two are pronounced the exact same so if you said it out loud you wouldn’t know, it’s just a different spelling.

I couldn’t have said it better. I actually prefer the spellings on your list than the alternates!

(For reference, I know a little Aleksander and he spells his name just fine :).)

I absolutely love [name_f]Katarzyna[/name_f], it’s gorgeous!
