My husband and I are not finding out what we are having. Our boy name is a family name and is already decided. But we are between 2 girl names. Since we are not telling anyone our names, i am looking for opinions from people who do not know us! So what do you think, [name_f]Veda[/name_f] [vey-duh] or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! Such a classic, pretty and timeless name that would be gorgeous on any little girl. I’m not so keen on [name_f]Veda[/name_f] personally, although I like the way it looks. It’s unique and has a lovely meaning though.
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]!! [name_f]Veda[/name_f] pales in comparison. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is a classic.
I like [name_f]Veda[/name_f] better. For some reason, I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I know a little girl named [name_u]Vida[/name_u], which is similar, and I’ve always liked it on her.
I prefer [name_f]Veda[/name_f]. It’s spunky and pretty. [name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] would be a nice combination!
[name_f]Veda[/name_f]! So much more interesting, feminine and fun than [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] in my opinion!
My vote would be for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. It is lovely by itself and has great nn potential: [name_u]Jojo[/name_u] for a child, [name_u]Josie[/name_u] which is more feminine or [name_u]Joey[/name_u] and [name_u]Jo[/name_u] for a tomboy.
I also think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Veda[/name_f] flows well. I am slightly bias tho 
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], but please go with [name_f]Veda[/name_f]. It’s so pretty and underused.
I love [name_f]Veda[/name_f], but as it does somewhat remind me of Darth Vader, I prefer [name_u]Vega[/name_u] or [name_f]Leda[/name_f]. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is lovely, especially with the emphasis on the last syllable. My favorite nicknames are [name_f]Posy[/name_f] and Zéphine <3 I love the suggestion of Veda Josephine.
I prefer [name_f]Veda[/name_f] but only if it’s spelt Vayda.
Never liked the name [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Joanna[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Jayda[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! Although I echo an earlier comment–[name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is a striking combination.
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is our top choice, at the moment, but I’d do [name_f]Veda[/name_f] in a heartbeat if I could get my husband on board (and I’ve tried!).
