First time posting on here, so im just gonna keep it short:D What do you guys think of [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]? Last name is Hammock, so [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] Hammock
I thought no it’s pretty, the individual names are great. I think it sounds good with the last name too.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] me being picky but I’m not sure the first and middle perfectly roll off the tongue but that might be my preference and others might disagree so wouldn’t worry about it. It’s a perfectly good name pick.
When a name ends with a vowel/vowel sound and the next name starts with a vowel/vowel sound the flow can sometimes be compromised. [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] is pretty but when said aloud it sounds like one word but that’s not some major deal breaker. All in all it’s pretty! I love [name_f]Vera[/name_f].
Other ideas…
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
Not a fan. I would keep [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] and find a new first name.
Very pretty! I think this is a lovely name and I hope you go for it.
I rather like it, [name_f]Vera[/name_f] is such a sweet name and [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] compliments it.
I love [name_f]Vera[/name_f] but I never really liked [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] feels dated to me.
I like the names separately but, not together.
I like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] but not [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]. Agree that the vowel sounds run the names together. What about [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_u]Laine[/name_u]?
This was going to be my suggestion too. I agree with the other posters: on paper, [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] looks fantastic! But when you say it out loud, the E for [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] gets lost. However, it’s really not that common for people to say first and second names together so if [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] is an honor name, I think you can keep it as is. It is sweet.
I think it’s beautiful!
