[name_f]Do[/name_f] any of you have what I call a B name. So for instance, if a name you have picked out really just doesn’t suit the baby do you fall back on your other contender so to speak?
I’m pretty certain on the name [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] (if when partner and I try to concieve our third is a girl) But another name on the cards is [name_f]Verity[/name_f].
What are your thoughts on [name_f]Verity[/name_f]. What middles would you go for? And which name sounds better with her brothers? ZĂ chary, AlexĂ nder and [name_f]Verity[/name_f].
ZĂ chary, AlexĂ nder and [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Verity[/name_f], I think personally I prefer it to [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f].
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] is a lovely name, but it doesn’t sing to me the way [name_f]Verity[/name_f] does.
I love [name_f]Verity[/name_f]! It’s such a beautiful name. A friend of mine has a little niece named [name_f]Verity[/name_f], and it’s so unexpected and lovely irl!
Hmm…I think both [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Verity[/name_f] work perfectly well with your sons’ names, so I don’t know that I can really pick. But I definitely think it’s a good idea to have a back up name that works equally as well just in case you do find [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] is not quite The Name if and when you have a daughter, and [name_f]Verity[/name_f] seems like just the perfect choice for you.
Both [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Verity[/name_f] are adorable! I think [name_f]Verity[/name_f] goes best with your son’s names, overall. [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is definitely more bright than [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], which I feel can sometimes be classified as an “old lady” name by society (even though I love it!).
I second [name_f]Verity[/name_f]…
[name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is so sweet (I even think they’d make a great combo together.) It’s one of the few virtue names that I really like. [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] definitely fits more stylistically with [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] but [name_f]Verity[/name_f] does work as well.
Verity is a pretty name but it is quite different from your boy’s names since it’s unfamiliar and uncommon. As for middle names, I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. I feel like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] fits better with your boy’s names. It’s more familiar and I like that they would all have the letter A in them. Also, [name_f]Verity[/name_f] and Záchary sound pretty similar to me. [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] is one of my favorite girl names, so I’m happy to see someone considering it!
On their own, I would choose [name_f]Verity[/name_f] over [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] any day. However I noticed this cool pattern with your sons names and [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] in that all 3 names have two As in them. That’s a cool little connection that tips it in favor of [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] for me.
Tabitha [name_f]Verity[/name_f] would make a really nice combo now that I’m thinking about it
I never considered putting the two together. [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Verity[/name_f] does sound nice.
And I never noticed the double A in all the names either. Thanks for all the lovely middle name suggestions with [name_f]Verity[/name_f].
I looove [name_f]Verity[/name_f]! I like it a little more than [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], but up to you! They both sound good and you can’t go wrong with either one.
Our daughter is M@rgot but when we went to hospital for her birth we had a back-up name in place, [name_f]Edith[/name_f]. When she was born she was definitely a feisty M@rgot though.
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] is lovely! I personally prefer it to [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] sound better with your sibset.
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
Unfortunately, I’m not a fan. [name_f]Verity[/name_f] sounds like “ferrety” or “ferrity” to my ears. I prefer [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Tabby[/name_f].
