Veronica has personal meaning to me, so that’s why I chose it. I also adore nicknames [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], and [name_u]Nick[/name_u]!
I prefer the strong, sharp feel of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
Definitely [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]! I used to strongly dislike this name but it has been growing on me. I also much perfect the nickname options for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] than for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Via[/name_f] or [name_f]Tori[/name_f] .
I know most will pick [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]- which i do like also. Its strong and classic with cool namesakes.
However I have a sweet spot for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]. I feel like [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] is a perfect mix of girlie and tomboy if thst makes sense. I just picture someone really cool named [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]. Its sassy to me which I really like. I have [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] on my list.
Although I dont love the nicknames [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] comes with. But I have that same issue with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] too actually. I dont love [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] on a girl. [name_f]Vera[/name_f] could maybe work but feels a bit forced. I also don’t like [name_f]Vicky[/name_f] or [name_f]Tori[/name_f] either though. So for me I’d have to use the full names!
My name is [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and I really like my name.
Victoria is international, easily recognisable, feels classic and works in a variety of different backgrounds so she doesn’t ever stand out awkwardly. I’m known predominantly as [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] however the draw back of this name is [name_f]Vicky[/name_f] a name I’m not overly keen on which I did get referred too throughout secondary school and occasionally at work. A nickname that I get from family is V which I think is a sweet nickname for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. I also do get called [name_f]Tori[/name_f] which I actually like a lot. I’m really happy with my name hence voting for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] even though funnily enough I’m mistaken for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] a lot.
I like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]’s classic feel
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is a great, wearable classic name that I don’t dislike but [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] is more interesting to me. Agree with @Rachelhaydenberk that it manages to balance feminity/tomboy-ish vibes perfectly. One of my old co-workers had a baby [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] a few years ago and I was really impressed with the choice.
I would pick [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] though I do like both. I know a few Victorias but no Veronicas, so it seems more unusual to me. I also like the [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u] image.
I have never been a fan of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] for some reason. I also like the nn [name_f]Vera[/name_f] for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], but I don’t like any of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]’s nns
