Vesper?

What do you think of [name]Vesper[/name]? MN would be [name]Leigh[/name]. We got it from the [name]James[/name] [name]Bond[/name] Casino [name]Royale[/name] character. It’s unique, but not too out there. It means “evening star” in latin.

I don’t see anything wrong with it, but it does remind me of a [name]Vespa[/name] - was the FIRST thing that came to mind for me.

I really just think of [name]Vespa[/name] scooters when I hear it.

Vespers are also evening prayers or services (I believe Catholic in origin). That’s what I thought of first, then [name]Vespa[/name] like the others. I don’t think it really sounds like a name; it also has a very lispy sound imo.

I have to disagree with the pp. I love Vespas, I know of Vespers and I STILL like the name [name]Vesper[/name]. It certainly isn’t traditional, but I like the sound and the meaning–which can be traced back to the God of the [name]Evening[/name] [name]Star[/name].

[name]Vesper[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] is ok, but it sort of sounds like “Vesperly” to me. Forgive me, but here are some other thoughts:
