[name_f]My[/name_f] friends father-in-law died a week ago and on Thursday I did the funeral. It was my first military funeral and my first time being in the veterans cemetery. So I looked at the electronic grave finder and looked at the names. I go up to last names starting with H before I had to go. Here are the most interesting ones I found.

Louiana
OMG! Tranny!?!? I think that’s topped the worst list for me.
From the boys, there aren’t many I like, but, Clyotis, [name_m]Hyman[/name_m], [name_u]Orange[/name_u], [name_f]Indian[/name_f], Curlee, Pringle, Eural, Atomic, [name_m]Hannibal[/name_m], and [name_m]Gaylord[/name_m] certainly made me chuckle, haha. I do like [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] a lot though.
As for the girls, Louiana is the only one I like. However, [name_f]Bama[/name_f], [name_f]Nannie[/name_f], Lesonia, Areola and Tranny were also fun to giggle at. I wonder if sexual references were not strong when these people were born, because now, I’m fairly certain a little Clyotis, [name_m]Hyman[/name_m], Eural, [name_m]Gaylord[/name_m], Lesonia, Areola and Tranny would be mocked.
[name_m]How[/name_m] was your first military funeral? Any interesting parts of the ceremony you’d like to share with your [name_u]Berry[/name_u] friends?
There’s something about these names that appeal to me.
Quinon - a little like [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] without the “t” or a male take on Quinoa
[name_u]Garnett[/name_u] - a family male name for me
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] - this is geeky but in a friendly way
[name_m]Oslo[/name_m] - an unusal place name
[name_m]Noble[/name_m] - one of my favourite word names
[name_m]Anastacio[/name_m] - Hispanic
[name_m]Theodis[/name_m] - sounds mythological
Hozia - Perhaps a misspelling of the Biblical [name_m]Hosea[/name_m]?
[name_m]Elihu[/name_m] - an underused Biblical name
[name_m]Hill[/name_m] - if [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is a name, why not [name_m]Hill[/name_m]?
Orlander -an interesting take of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Lysander[/name_m]
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u] - better in the middle spot
Thurlo - [name_m]Thurlow[/name_m] is a surname
[name_m]Pharoah[/name_m] - cool if it was spelled properly
[name_u]Golden[/name_u] - interesting
[name_m]Cornelious[/name_m] – see [name_m]Pharoah[/name_m]
Orestus - [name_m]Orestes[/name_m] would be better
[name_m]Romeo[/name_m] - I always wonder if a man named [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] lived up to his name?
Pringle - perhaps a family name. Reminds me of tingle, jingle and [name_u]Kris[/name_u] Kringle!
[name_m]Merlin[/name_m] - [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] would be proud!
Girls:
Marthadelle - unusual
Jeweldean - very Southern
[name_f]Florida[/name_f] - A variant of [name_f]Florentia[/name_f]/[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_m]Talmadge[/name_m] - maybe a family name
[name_f]Kateri[/name_f] - a lovely Native American saint name
Ligia - an underused Greek name
Memory - better in the middle spot
[name_f]Jewel[/name_f] - I wonder what was up with all the [name_m]Jewels[/name_m] in the cemetery?
