We love the name [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], it’s the name of one of my favourite literary characters, but my family has a tradition of nicknames for long, more traditional names. We hate [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f], but love [name_f]Via[/name_f]. Is [name_f]Via[/name_f] too much of a stretch from [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]?
I think [name_f]Via[/name_f] would be a great nickname.
However, I think [name_f]Vera[/name_f] comes more naturally and you have to be prepared that people might end up calling her that anyway.
I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch, no.
I also love [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] and think [name_f]Via[/name_f] works fine. I’m fortunate to love all of her nicknames
I think it’s great, definitely not a stretch.
A good nn for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f].
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f] nn [name_f]Via[/name_f] makes perfect sense
Not at all! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Via[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]. Gorgeous!
I went to school with a [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] who went by Vie…so I don’t see why [name_f]Via[/name_f] wouldn’t work!
