Curious to hear what vibes you get from these two. Trying to decide character names
[name_f]Briana[/name_f] would be pronounced bree-AH-nah (AH as in AUdio).
Nicknames also appreciated! Thanks

Honestly, [name_f]Briana[/name_f] is a little too mid-2000s/2010s cheerleader for me.
[name_u]Holly[/name_u] is more timeless, I think (I don’t like this name for personal reasons so I don’t think I’d be fair to the name itself, so I’ll let others vibe it out lol)
[name_f]Briana[/name_f] - liked to lead and naturally good at it, can speak before thinking, but heart on sleeve, intense and earnest (and not especially humorous) - [name_f]Bri[/name_f], [name_f]Bria[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f]
[name_u]Holly[/name_u] - cheerful, likeable and good humoured - but doesn’t mind being on her own and doing her own thing, not swayed by the group - Holl, Hols, [name_f]Jolly[/name_f]
(Im a little biased, our daughters name is Holly)
[name_u]Holly[/name_u] is sweet and lilting with a naturey vibe but somehow still seems to feels solid not frilly. Its not tied to a specific time period but has steadly been used. And it would work well as a little girl, young adult, middle aged and older.
[name_f]Briana[/name_f], like someone else mentioned, feels very 2000’s to me (Im in the US, probably doesnt have the same dated feel in other countries) And this maybe a personal thing, but all the Briana’s I knew growing up gave off very ‘mean girl’ vibes. So thats what I associate with the name.
Briana is sweet, with a little bit of glitz and glam, a little sass too. It gives me slightly American vibes. Various nicknames to suit different kinds of characters: Bree / Brie, Bria, Ana, Bee, Bibi, Beanie, Bia, Barny, Beans, Bitsy, Brin, Bran
Holly is sharp but sweet - warm but strong, could easily feel outdoorsy, sporty and slightly rough-and-tumble, but princess-y and cute too. Various nicknames: Hols, Olly, Spike (as in, like holly leaves), Holly-Dolly, Lolly, Lee
I like [name_u]Holly[/name_u]. I think of [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] and snow and joy and sweet nature. Someone who would be more of a quiet, timid person but very friendly when you get to know them.
[name_f]Briana[/name_f] I picture a cheerleader, very preppy, and outgoing. More of a sorority girl persona.
