Hey all! We just found out that we are having another girl! Now we are anxious to nail down a name.
We are favoring [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] at the moment, but do not agree on her nickname. We do agree to steer clear of “[name_f]Gen[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Genny[/name_f]”. “[name_f]Eve[/name_f]” or “Vieve”, which would you choose? Why? Any other name suggestions for sister to [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]? And why??

I would use [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. Vieve sounds too made up.

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is lovely! I think [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or Vieve (or even [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) is spunky and fun… I would probably keep all of them as options, and chose when you actually meet her.

I prefer [name_f]Eve[/name_f] - or even [name_f]Evie[/name_f] while she’s young. Vieve seems a bit too made up [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Eve[/name_f], although [name_f]Viva[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f] (which I love!) would be lovely too.

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is high on my list, but I would suggest, and if I use it I heavily plan on, not using a nickname. FI and I have discussed that it would be important to call her by her full name, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. If we had to use a nickname, I would steer very clear of [name_f]Gen[/name_f] or [name_f]Genny[/name_f]. I would probably go with Vieve or Gig (jeeg).
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is a beautiful name. I like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] or [name_f]Neve[/name_f] as a nickname.
I immediately thought [name_f]Evie[/name_f] too.
