Vila / Vyla

Is this usable? I think it would make a good nickname for [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Viola[/name] but I feel like it is close enough to [name]Ayla[/name], [name]Vera[/name], & [name]Lyla[/name] that it could possibly stand alone in the front. WDYT? [name]Vila[/name] or Vyla or ___? Thanks!

Sorry, too close to “vile” for me. [name]Viola[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] are both great as-is. I guess if I were to nickname them, Vee, [name]Vi[/name], maybe [name]Io[/name], [name]Lala[/name] for [name]Viola[/name].

I like it, actually. I’ve heard [name]Viola[/name] said like vee-oh-lah, vye-oh-lah, and vye-lah, so I think you could even do just [name]Viola[/name] said like “Vyla”. I think you’d have to do some correcting, but I do think the sound is pretty.

I agree. I like both [name]Viola[/name] and [name]Violet[/name], but [name]Vila[/name]/Vyla makes me think “vile.” I like [name]Vi[/name] as a nickname for either or [name]Lettie[/name] as a nickname for [name]Violet[/name]. [name]Vita[/name] could work as a nickname for [name]Violet[/name] as well, perhaps.

I can maybe convince the SO to use [name]Viola[/name] prn ‘Vyla’ because he thinks ‘Vye-oh-la’ sounds like violent & he can’t get past it. I also like the nn [name]Io[/name] thanks Berries
