I didn’t know [name_u]Van[/name_u] Gogh had a brother, so I didn’t notice the connection. Maybe an art historian would but I don’t think it’s an issue in the long run. I would definitely go with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], as I think it goes better with [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] overall.

I did think of them but I doubt most people would. It’s not a bad association for me, so wether it [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_m]Theodorus[/name_m], [name_m]Theobald[/name_m], etc. it wouldn’t change anything for me.

I knew he had a brother, but didn’t remember his name so I didn’t see it.

I didn’t remember he had a brother. [name_m]Theodorus[/name_m] is too old fashioned for my taste. An informed fan of [name_u]Van[/name_u] Gogh will make the connection regardless, but I don’t think most people will have a clue.
