Vintage Gems :)

[name]Hi[/name] berries!*

I am looking for 3 girls names that are uniquely their own, but that sound magnificent together as siblings. No, I’m not expecting triplets by the way  I love vintage, classic, and British names with cute, spunky nicknames. I have a short list of names that I really like and I’d love your opinion on them. I would also love to hear other suggestions! My list contains names that are pretty popular … Almost too popular for my taste, but I feel they properly describe my naming style! Thanks for all of your help

My list includes:
[name]Agatha[/name] nn [name]Aggie[/name]
[name]Adelaide[/name] nn [name]Addie[/name]/[name]Laidy[/name] (Lady)

[name]Alice[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Madeline[/name]

[name]Love[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Alice[/name] & [name]Evangeline[/name]! Three of my favorite names! [name]How[/name] about [name]Etta[/name], [name]Tabitha[/name] & [name]Ivy[/name]?

My favorite trio from your list is [name]Elisabeth[/name], [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name] but I agree all are quite popular
Some not so popular vintage names, some with nns, would be:
[name]Arabella[/name]-[name]Ari[/name] or [name]Bella[/name]
[name]Araminta[/name]- [name]Ari[/name] or [name]Minty[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name]-[name]Millie[/name], [name]Mia[/name], [name]Mimi[/name] or [name]Lia[/name]

[name]Sophronia[/name]- [name]Sophie[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name]- [name]Suzie[/name] or [name]Sunny[/name]

Thank you all for your sweet and helpful comments!!

I love the sibset of [name]Agatha[/name], [name]Edith[/name], and [name]Mabel[/name], but I’m afraid my family and community aren’t ready for a little [name]Edith[/name] yet :frowning: The combination of [name]Alice[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], and [name]Margaret[/name] & [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Elisabeth[/name] are divine! From your listed suggestions, I really like:
[name]Ada[/name]*
[name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Rosalind[/name]/[name]Rosamund[/name]
[name]Vivian[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name]*
[name]Harriet[/name] ([name]Hattie[/name])
[name]Beatrice[/name] (I love the nickname [name]Bea[/name], but [name]Beatrice[/name] isn’t my favorite name … All I see when I look at this gem is [name]Beat[/name]-rice)

[name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Georgia[/name] are great together, but I don’t like the fact that [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Georgia[/name] are both “place” names. I’m afraid it would look like I was trying too hard to find matching names. [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Elisabeth[/name], and [name]Margaret[/name] & [name]Alice[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], and [name]Madeline[/name] are both gorgeous sets. Thank you!

The suggestion of [name]Etta[/name] is beautiful. I truly love the name, but I feel like it is short for something and needs a longer name. [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Alice[/name], and [name]Evangeline[/name] go swimmingly together. Thanks

I also love the combination of [name]Elisabeth[/name], [name]Alice[/name], and [name]Victoria[/name]. From the listed suggestions, I really like:
[name]Arabella[/name] (I love the nickname [name]Bella[/name], but is it really as popular as people say it is?!?)
[name]Amelia[/name] nn [name]Lia[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name] nn [name]Addie[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name] (I [name]LOVE[/name] this spelling and the nn [name]Belle[/name]!)
[name]Dorothy[/name] nn [name]Dottie[/name]

Thanks, again, for all of your help!
[name]Meg[/name]

I also suggest [name]Aveline[/name], [name]Opal[/name] and [name]Scarlett[/name] ([name]Lettie[/name]). [name]Margaret[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] go great together. My name is [name]Margaret[/name] and my mn is of ad- origin.

Names on your list I’m very fond of: [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Elisabeth[/name] (I much prefer the s over the z spelling!), [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Emmaline[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name].

[name]Hattie[/name] isn’t really too much of a stretch for [name]Charlotte[/name], but I think it’s…unnecessary? I’m not sure, I just don’t particularly like it. I much prefer [name]Charlie[/name], [name]Lottie[/name], [name]Harley[/name], [name]Ari[/name], [name]Char[/name].
I think [name]Lilibet[/name] is too much of a stretch from [name]Elisabeth[/name] because it’s a totally different name in my mind. I know it’s a diminutive, but it’s not my pick. I prefer [name]Libby[/name] even. Same goes for [name]Victoria[/name] nn [name]Vita[/name]. Also, another nickname for [name]Adelaide[/name] could be [name]Hadley[/name].
[name]Agatha[/name] is one of my least favourite name, and so is [name]Aggie[/name]. I just do not see the appeal in the name at all.

Sibsets:
[name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], and [name]Elisabeth[/name].
[name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name], and [name]Charlotte[/name].
[name]Emmaline[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Madeline[/name].
[name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Madeline[/name], and [name]Emmaline[/name]. (Same endings, but very different general sounds imo)
[name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Georgia[/name], and [name]Dorothy[/name]. (All contain “or”)
[name]Alice[/name], [name]Dorothy[/name], and [name]Margaret[/name].

Thank you all so much for the sweet comments. [name]Meg[/name] is actually short for [name]Megan[/name] (which I hate! I think it is so trendy and overused. In my graduating class alone there were 5 [name]Megan[/name]'s and my class was tiny! I would much prefer [name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Meg[/name]!). My middle name is [name]Elisabeth[/name] after my mother [name]Lisa[/name] and my aunt [name]Beth[/name]. This is why I have chosen [name]Elisabeth[/name] with an “s” rather than a “z”!*

I really appreciate your sibset suggestions. They are all lovely! I never realized this would be so hard of a decision.*

Please keep the comments and suggestions coming!
