Sorry for my continual questions but I’m so stressed with naming this baby. I know I want a vintage name but nothing in the top 100. Other option is [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]. We plan on taking two names to the delivery suite. [name]Corinne[/name] will be the middle name to honor my mother. Any ideas? Here’s what we have so far-
I’m not good at vintage names, but I love [name]Marion[/name] and [name]Anais[/name]. [name]Ana[/name]ïs [name]Nin[/name] is one of my absolute favourite writers, and the name is so beautiful. [name]Marion[/name] makes me think of Maid [name]Marion[/name] and I love the [name]Robin[/name] Hood stories. [name]Daisy[/name] is very cute too!
This is exactly why we chose [name]Anais[/name]! I don’t know if we should spell it [name]Anais[/name] or [name]Ana[/name]ïs? My husband says she will get teased.
[name]Ana[/name]ïs had some fantastic middles; [name]Angela[/name] (fn really), Edelmira, [name]Juana[/name], Antolina and [name]Rosa[/name]. Maybe he’s like them better?
[name]How[/name] do you pronounce it? I say a-na-EES.
[name]Virginia[/name] is my favorite from your list, and I think [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] has an adorable sing-song rhythm to it. I think [name]Anais[/name] wouldn’t make it around the corner without getting teased or mispronounced, sadly. At least in the US. [name]Marion[/name] I love, but I don’t think it sounds great with [name]Corinne[/name].
Here I am, hopping on the [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] bandwagon!! As soon as I saw it on your list I swooned! It’s on my list too and I wish it would get a teeny bit more use!! I would love to meet a young [name]Virginia[/name], I would use the nn [name]Ginny[/name]. [name]Virginia[/name] and [name]Charles[/name] are an adorable sibset!!!
I love [name]Marion[/name] with [name]Charles[/name]! To make the combination flow better I might switch the ending of [name]Corinne[/name] to [name]Corinna[/name] (said the same just with an -a ending). My second choice is [name]Matilda[/name], very sweet.
[name]Anais[/name], [name]Daisy[/name] and [name]Verity[/name] are so different in style and feel. I do not care for [name]Virginia[/name].
