This is more ancient than vintage, but I came across the name Thales ([name_m]Thay[/name_m]-leez) last night. He’s considered the first Greek philosopher. It’s a simple name, I’m intrigued.
[name_m]Flavius[/name_m] definitely feels on-edge trendy to me - as in, not yet, but he fits within the [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] / [name_u]Finn[/name_u] / [name_m]Silas[/name_m] sort of area and I can see him catching on maybe in a few years. [name_m]Manfred[/name_m]'s not totally beyond the pale either [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] should make a comeback - she’s lovely - but I’m not sure she will, at least not in the foreseeable future. E
I really like [name_m]Flavius[/name_m] and [name_f]Mehitabel[/name_f]!
I’d like to see my lovely grandmother’s names, [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] and [name_f]Irene[/name_f], come back. I think they’re beautiful and serene.
I also would like the names [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Magali[/name_f] to make a comeback in [name_m]French[/name_m]-speaking countries, but that’s probably a little while off yet.
