In real life, I only get negative feedback for these two names even though I think they’re soooo lovely. I’m pretty set on using [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] for my no. 3 (siblings are [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m]). [name_m]How[/name_m] do you feel about these names? Which is your favorite?
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] will be our tie breaker name.
Middle name will be [name_f]Joy[/name_f]/[name_u]Joyce[/name_u] after my grandmother. I’m debating on giving her two middle names just because I can’t decide. What’s everyone’s general feelings on that?
Thanks!
With [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m], I really love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is nice, as well, and nice with [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m]… I’ve just never gotten the appeal of [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] much more. I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] would be quite swoonworthy, actually… I’m a big fan of two middles.
I love the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as well! I also love the way the name [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] flows off the tongue. I don’t like the idea of two middle names, but think there are so many beautiful options out there, its hard to settle on just one. My husband and I have moved around a lot during our relationship and I don’t really see that stopping, so I love that the [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is actually the state flower of the one we are currently residing in
Nature is something we both love, and I love names that evoke some type of emotion. Good luck naming baby number 3!
Shamelessly bumping for more suggestions!
My favourite is [name_f]Violet[/name_f], I never really got the appeal of [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], it’s just too frilly for my taste. And I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] goes really well with your other children’s names. I like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] too, but not as much as [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I am definitely for two middles, all of my combinations have two middles, I just like the way it sounds with two and there are so many great names!
Since [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is three syllables (I think, I have just been sat saying [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and counting, it’s three the way I say it) I would do a 3-1-2 syllable count with the names.
I absolutely love the name [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]… it’s my favorite of all those you suggested.
I think the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would go best with the names [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m] though if it really is equal between the 2 names.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is a lovely name to continue with a ‘A’ trend my only concern with that is what if you have more children? (planned or unplanned)… [name_m]Will[/name_m] you continue naming then with 'A’s?
Middle names are generally fine and I’m not necessarily a fan of matchy first and middle names as my children will most probably never be called by their middle names… I also just tend to stick a family name in there in honor of someone.
I would really stick with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]… both are lovely names
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
or
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is all right but I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] goes with her siblings’ names better.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is my pick… [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is very pretty too, just saying!
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is definitely my pick! I think it’s so lovely and soft! [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is a little harsh in my ears and imo, not as pretty.
